silver, shiny, holo, special, what?

I pulled my first silver in a pack today, 13th Labour, and noticed that the color border is all shiny. Is this the indicator of a normal silver card or is this some sort of special holographic/foil/etc version of a silver card?

Thanks! Solve on!

As far as I know, there is only one "type" of silver card--there are no special silvers, they're all equally rare. It is worth noting that the 13th Labour (and several other cards) have gone through a few different print runs and revisions. It sounds like you have one of the newer printings.

Here is some more information:

I thought that the Silver/Purple border around The 13th Labour was supposed to signify that this was an extreme difficulty silver card. Having said that, why the heck hasn't shuffled, billion to one, and reimman got a special border lol.

Can anyone else with a 13th Labour on hand please tell me whether or not their copy has a shiny, reflective, almost holographic border? I'm still not able to figure out what's going on. Are there holo/foil variants of ALL of the cards, like some collectible card games produce, or is this just the normal 13th Labour like everyone has (barring the difference in the updated version)?

Ermm, if I understand correctly you are asking if the silver cards have shiny borders, like other "premium" CCG cards, the answer is yes, ALL silver cards have a shiny border (meant to represent silver) and those are the only cards with shiny borders (except 257...?)
