I've updated the countdowns page on the wiki with fields for the exact location, and a list of attendees. I filled in the names of everyone who posted here saying they are going. I didn't check over at neowin so there might be some more names we might add.

We don't know the nature of these events yet, but it will probably be handy to coordinate efforts from the start, so if you're going to a live event, put your name on the wiki and get in touch with other players to see if they want to get together.

ETA: I just noticed the times. I assume they are not local time, beacuse 1:00PM Sydney != 1:00PM Miami.

Can someone go over all the times in the wiki and convert them to local time, as well as the time in GMT for the benefit of everyone else.

Miami is just too far of a drive for me. Sad

But if there had been a chicago event i would totally be there.
Its a shame that there is nothing going on over this way, but also with the number of events its completely understandable.
I have a few people i can live vicariously through, so that is good enough for me.
I say good for them for finally grabbing a great medium to get the word out about the launch (if thats what it is for).
Microsoft have always been pretty good to people who attend their events, this time the goodies are just going out a little earlier.
