 		I've put my name on the wiki for London even though my boyfriend is threatening to open the mysterious boxes outside the door of our flat on that day (that's when they legally become ours) if I go. Now that's devotion for you, I'm willing to postpone knowledge of the contents of the mysterious boxes for up to a day.

And no, they're from L'Oreal, not Microsoft. Darn. But shampoo is good too.

Because posting that I added something to the wiki was just wrong, y'know?

I will be doing my best to attend the Vegas event if I can get to the Bellagio at that time. Last live event I did for an ARG was way back with I Love Bees so I'm gonna do my best to be there.

 		I just arranged to leave work 30 minutes early so I can get to whereever the thing in London will be on 20th Jan (sacrificed my precious 30 minute lunch 'hour'). They're starting to get used to me dashing off to do weird and wonderful things!

From my previous experience with ARG live events, I'd highly suggest that anyone going to the Vegas event should swap phone numbers with someone who can be logged in to IRC and the forums (and can do Google searches and the like) at the same time. I know that a lot of cellphones have internet access, but things can get a little hectic in the middle of an exciting event, making it difficult to simultaneously pay attention and navigate the internet on a phone/PDA/UMPC/laptop. "Phoning home" provides a good resource for puzzle solving as well as keeping everyone in IRC (who can't attend) abreast of the action.

I now know that I will be at the Vegas event. If anyone wants to look for me, sorry I don't have a flickr account, I'm tall (6' 2"), wear glasses, have a beard (not quite ZZ Top yet but eventually..... Confused), and I'll be wearing blue jeans and, depending on just how cold I get, either a white t-shirt with blue flames and a white undershirt or a black imitation leather jacket with what looks like carpeting around the collar. I'll also see about bringing along a video camera.

 		Will be there & taking pictures - my collaborator will be on top of the Eiffel Tower recording an aerial view if all goes well. We hope there will be enough light for our camera to pick up the 6:30 fountain show to review for possible coded messages.

 		Can't make it to London myself, but seeing as all clues point towards a Vista launch, there are 2 MS Windows Vista launch Coding sessions on the 20th at the Microsoft offices

 		Ugh. Not only am I on a course all day on the 20th (after that weekend I'll be a qualified kickboxercise instructor - w00t!) but I'm on a hen party thing in the evening, so can't even hang out with everyone afterwards. How frustrating Sad
