Reaching her wasn't the hard part...
Keeping the secret of the response is!

The response was labled"(Confidential). But I Will say that the response had an actual e-mail address attached and said "Out Of The Office" added to the subject line before my sent subject...and she does have an address at Microsoft.com.

Another interesting tidbit is a Google search of the actual address led me to a bit of "folklore"

Hmmmmm. Same address used, different response.
Tthis time from remote mailer5@microsoft.com

Now that was truly interesting. It did say I was getting warmer....But it wasn't "(Confidential)" this time.

I seriously think that the previous response was personally sent.

cglrcng, it seems the emails you got are the exact ones we are discussing in this thread (the ones from rmailer, v-loki, and Aaron who is out of game). Please read all the VPG threads before posting, discuss your findings in chat (there's no such thing as confidential), and edit your posts instead of posting twice in a row. Thanks.

No....

The first one was "personal" and "Confidential" due to the changing (adding a message to the beginning of my Subject Line), and the content of the message was MUCH DIFFERENT than the last 5 w/ the standard getting warmer and hmmmm, message. That 1 was in response to the folklore link I sent.

From the responses I get to posting I can see my input isn't really wanted here.

cglrcng, We do appreciate your input. We simply ask that you take a few minutes to read & undertand the posting guidelines. Having the same information in 3 different threads is not only redundant, but also distracting.

You did not post the contents of your email, so we had no way of knowing that you had a different reply.

Which lead us to believe that you received the same thing as the rest of us. If you did receive something different, we would welcome you to post it & clear up any confusion. If you choose not to share what you have received, then why post in 3 separate threads just to "tease" us?

Your logic makes sense:

01.08 Time passes... Watches/time = Physics
01.13 Magic happens... Magic (from the vid) = Stage Arts
01.20 Memories fade... History (Herodotus) = History
01.27 People disappear... This one could be Folklore, although obviously that's a stretch.

Different view: Times passes and we mature. Magic happens during our older childhood and early teens. As we grow older our Memories fade, we forget and lose family and loved ones. Then finally People disappear and die. It's simple a progression of life.

Being new to this board I read the posting guidelines....But the threads here tend to overlap a wee bit. A game (the puzzles), the e-mail thread, and the AMD Chip thread all overlap in many ways as does the info garnered.

I was taught long ago that if a communication is labeled ("Confidential") you keep the contents of the communication to yourself (hard to do sometimes)...as is this time. But the trail was correct as I thought and was actually born out today (a call by others was all that was necessary to MS to get the trail leading further to the phone #'s and the faxed airline itinerary info)...I wasn't teasing anyone, I was releasing info that stayed on the trail, but keeping other info labeled "Confidential" as asked...I now think that other info was not the correct trail. (As if to say much warmer but barking up the wrong tree, now look for a fire hydrant).

Last night I received 6 total responses to mails sent in differing ways was all I was trying to convey, 5 answers were from automated e-mail server 5.microsoft.com...but the first was from "v-loki@microsoft.com" and contained a different message (the one I think conveyed very good, much warmer, but barking up the wrong tree/try the fire hydrant over there). It was the one I asked a question about Mr. Lime Pi in...and it came back w/ the subject line changed and added to.

I'll work hard to add rather than detract, but do give a bit of grace for at least the first 2 posting days please. This one is simply a response to anothers post as to why.

Mundane Mink
green

Here I go with my mundane theories again.
I just watched the second video and noticed the green reflection in Loki's glasses again.
I'm pretty sure that its just a reflection of a green screen that she would have had to have stood in front of to film the bellegio fountain projection.

But what I am most curious about is why have they filmed the her in such an obvious 'off-set' location. It makes her appear more to be an actress than anything in-game. Why aren't these little interviews in a hotel room like the first one or some other non-descript place. It does highlight that these videos are seperate from the main Microsoft puzzle, being made quietly on the side just like the Loki trail sits outside the main game.

I can't help but think this must be significant, but I really can't see how it could be.

Actually, I think that Folklore would be the next one. It fits with "Memories fade ..." as Folklore often changes as it's passed down from generation to generation, in fact, that's what separates History from Folklore ... History is (presumably) fact, while Folklore is a kind of fiction.

So why Folklore and not History? Because I think History would point to whether or not we learned anything from these puzzles, and it could be an interesting way to wrap things up ... new twists on the existing puzzles.

Also, and this is admittedly a bit of an intuitive leap, but History could be the final link to Loki as well. We're supposed to be finding her vanishing point, and it could be that the answers we seek are in her own history ... one that I'm almost certain she is intentionally embellishing or lying about. Unravel the inconsistencies and I think we'll find what we need.

Loki's name and contact info

She has an extension number at Microsoft which goes with the v-loki email address. Her job title is listed as Enigma Director with vendor company (Confidential) - hence the confidential notification on the email reply. Her phone number is 425-421-4955.
This gives you a voice mail with the phrase: Awesome work. All knowledge eventually needs effective diagnosis.
this clue = AWAKENED (first letter of each word)
go to vanishingpointgame.com/awakened gives you a phone number to call that asks for a fax number.
the fax you receive will be a flight itinerary for L. Kitsune.
Other web search reveal that her first name is Lorelei. A wikipedia search for Lorelei takes you to the folklore about the Lorelei or "murmuring rock"

Thank you, but kinda old news. But, assuming you have also done all the puzzles, you are pretty much caught up!

Please [search] before posting. We like to keep things kinda neat here, and not keep repeating old information.

Awakened, for example, was discovered and first posted on January 10 -
http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=292908&search_id=833195377&highlight=awakened&sort_dir=desc&return_chars=500#292908

And Loreley/lorelei and the murmuring rock the same day:
http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=292963&search_id=1206278488&highlight=loreley&sort_dir=desc&return_chars=500#292963

We love that people are tracking through and doing all this stuff themselves, but please don't post if it's already here. And we could use your help on the current questions - what (if anything) are we missing in the meta puzzle about Loki? See the Loki email thread, the meta thread and the like.

The True Identity of Loki (The Actress)

I've found the true identity of Loki. The real life actress who plays her, anyway.

SPOILER:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Her name is Minae Noji. She plays on General Hospital. If you don't believe me, see this vid on her myspace page: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=54234975

Man, she's hot.
