What would YOU do with the prize money? £100,000.
Ooh.
I would take £15,000 to get me through university easily, give £75,000 to charity, and give £10,000 to the Unfiction admins, to pay for server upkeep for a long while to come.

I have $165,000 left on my mortgage, so making that disappear would improve my life greatly.
Of course, if the Jurassic Way spec is right, I don't even have the 0.00000001% chance of finding the Cube that I did when we thought it was in New York.

Hmmm.... I would:
pay off credit card bills;
give lumps of cash to my best friends - one towards her wedding, the other for her new babba;
go on holidays to Iceland and some other places;
buy even more shiny gadgety things;
donate to the various local groups I'm involved with;
donate to forums and all the various sites and stuff that have helped with finding the thing (especially Wikipedia );
donate to various charities;
stick whatever's left (probably tuppence ha'penny after that lot) in the bank.

2.pay off bills
3.finish school
4.get a car that does not smoke and/or catch fire
5.Buy house
6. Pay off mom's house (she's too old & blind, and don't need to be working)
7.donate some bling to Unfiction
8. Buy some serious Series 2 cards to GIVE OUT TO EVERYONE!!!
yep, that's about the jist of it!

Not likely to happen, but here's what I'd do with the prize money:
50% goes into the bank right off.
25% is reserved for fun stuff (a Falcon Northwest Fragbook, a shitload of games, some music, and more puzzle cards . . . any lef over gets salted away for future purchases).
10% gets split up amongst my buddies in the Odd Squad: Death Metal Will, Takeru, Happy Bob, Geoff, Dana, Derf, Stan, and Tito.
5% gets donated to UnFiction.
5% is used to acquire emergency supplies (and get a decent car).
The remaining 5%, I convert into gold bullion and hide in a safe place (in case of disaster - gold is valuable no matter what).

If, by some unlikely occurence, the cube transports itself into St. Louis, Missouri, I'd give 10% to unfiction, buy myself a nice car and save the rest for a rainy day.

In case of nuclear war, I would recommend transferring it to tomatoes. If we all get nuked, what use is gold? And who can pass up a delicious, shiny tomato?

If we all get nuked, both the gold and the tomatoes will be useless as there'll be nobody around to use either.
But in casae of a disaster, gold can be used for a variety of things - you can start a simple monetary system with it, you can turn it into decorative items (which can be bartered for goods and services), you can turn it into wire (which has many, many uses), you can bash someone over the head with a gold brick and steal his stuff . . .

I'll stick with what I put in those eight perplexcity.com questions:
I would use the prize money to upgrade the Cube to a Dodecahedron and give it a nice manicure and facial. It deserves it after hanging out in the ground for so long.

Seriously?
1. Course fees for next year.
2. Decent wheelchair for next year
3. Standing frame (NHS don't do them for adults)
4. Profiling bed so I can sleep, and don't fall out of bed (need to be spending 23 hours/day in bed to get them on the nHS)
5. Deposit down on a accessible house/flat.

in case of nuclear war, what good would tomatos be as they would become radioactive and try to eat people, see attack of the killer tomatoes (v old cartoon)
personally if i could be bothered to find the cube or if it was near my house, i would spend the money on:
going on the trans-siberian railway
fixing my house (It's old and rickety) and building an underground bunker
and buying lots of books (that i would hide in an underground bunker in case of emergency)

Me. I hate the things. Seriously, it's almost a phobia. If they were the last food on earth... just no. The thought of it is making me sick.
After donations to charity and unfiction, the rest would go towards a house. Or a very small flat with house prices the way they are here. Perhaps a shed.

In my dreams I would:
Buy my 2 sons braces
Put a bunch toward our health insurance
Pay off debt from opening our own buisiness
Put aside substantial amount for my 3 kids college funds
Pay off family/house debt
Put aside chunk for retirement
Use some for a much needed vacation
Save whatever's left
Not that I have any chance of finding the Cube! But, dreaming can't hurt.

I did last time this came up, quite a while ago though, don't know where its gone now.
Anyway, I'd be boring, buy some fun stuff, the party and then most for uni and savings.
