OK, the fact that he has worked for Microsoft before suggests this may be a custom-made video, but to me he still seems to be doing the trick to an unseen audience rather than for viewers of the video.

Anyhoo, is there any mileage in the covering up of the professor's door with a 'bulletin board'? Perhaps our next step is connected with a virtual bulletin board.

There ought to be more to the second 'round completed' video than just Loki boasting about how wacky she is.

Regarding the cutaway shots of the legs of the directors chair. I think she is disappearing. The 1st video looks to be showing us how her feet naturally hang. The 2nd video shows enough of the chair to see that her feer (which should be there) are not. I tried http://vanishingpointgame.com/bottomsup/ and http://vanishingpointgame.com/images/bottomsup.jpg .gif and .png. Nothing resulted. I'll bet the focus on her will be just the upper torso or even just a head by the last video before she disappears completely. It would have to be bottom to top...cuz her feet can't talk lol

good catch. The image of her:
http://vanishingpointgame.com/images/loki.jpg seems to be placing emphasis on her pulling her glasses down. Maybe it's what she's saying when she pulls her glasses down (happens in the initial video or maybe we are supposed to figure out what she's looking at? I dunno.

Anyways:
Challenge video she pulls her glasses down while saying:
"Right"

Puzzle 1 video she pulls her glasses down while saying:
"You've earned it...right"

Puzzle 2 video she pulls her glasses down while saying:
"Congratulations! That's 24 puzzles down"

Hope that helps

Not sure if this is repeat, but we found a phone number in posters.

1 - 3 roses
2 - 1 moon
3 - 3 shoes
4 - 5 clocks
5 - 2 bells
6 - 5 handcuffs
7 - 1 owl
8 - 4 bugles
9 - 2 doves
10 - 3 cards

313 525 1423

It rings through and asks for a message, like any ordinary cell phone. It's probably wrong, so please don't spam it. =)

Also, 23 is a Telnet port.

3.135.251.4:23?

Also, she refers to crawling through a window. Accessing something is my guess.

Swim Meets or Book Swaps sounds like a Cryptic Crossword clue.

Some folks at neowin are tracking Loki's actions with her glasses as being possible directional clues for some future purpose - e.g up, down right, left. (Apogee even posted a video clipping the moves: http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=531483&view=findpost&p=588246466

..And that she seems to move one chair to her left from one video to the next - and you can often see the next chair in the current video.

She definitely says a direction when she lowers her glasses in each video:

Hear the challenge video - "RIGHT?"
Bellagio video - "... a trip UP to space ..."
Box 1 complete video - "... you've earned it, RIGHT?"
Box 2 complete video - "... that's 24 puzzles DOWN"
Box 3 complete video - "... you've got only 12 puzzles LEFT"

The second to fourth directions take us round in a square, FWIW.

I think that the chair thing is because for some reason after each filming she moved to the next chair, as if they were in a line. After each filming she just moved down to the next chair in the line.

Interesting. In the most recent video, you can still see a chair to either side of her. Do you think we'll get another video next week? I wondered, for a couple of reasons. (1) Loki told us that each puzzle we solve makes more of her "disappear"; (2) last week, when we were half done, she made the comment about sawing a woman in half; (3) this week's video has "final" in its name. Probably just a reference to it being the video we get after solving all the puzzles... but, as I said, I wondered.

Well, it looks like we're going to get not one but TWO questions next week. Collectionplate is asking for the puzzle pieces, but More_Answers is asking for us to have solved all of the puzzles.

Seems like a bit of a pointless hurdle, considering having solved all the puzzles doesn't "prove" anything, but I guess we'll find out next week.

BTW for more possibly pointless spec fpr connections, who else kept moving one chair down? The Mad Tea Party? (and who disappeared at the end of that - didn't dormouse get stuffed in the teapot? or should we look at the Cheshire Cat?) Goldilocks?

But anyway - metapuzzle-wise - the discussion or trail now seems to have focused on accumulating sequences of clues from the videos, but this week no phone numbers? No websites to find? No more itineraries? We've overmined the meaning of Loki's many names by now, but what can be done with the clues about her life? What does the Enigma Director do? Are the voicemails unchanged?

It could be that there is not just a single Loki moving down the chairs, but maybe there are four chairs because there are 4 Loki's (and 4 editions of Vista), and each is simply sitting in their own chair. Quadruple major in two years because each Loki had just a single major.

Sounds a bit far fetched, but since we have little to do this week, might as well throw out spec. Laughing

EDIT* (she does say in the 3rd video that there is a "secret she couldn't tell them" but gave them a few details about her life. Also never taking a sick day but able to travel all over the world? Either that is one amazing job that she left, or they split a single job so one would work while the others were away.)

If you look in the directions she gives....
In each video, and use her as the anchor in the middle....

....of each video (but look to this last 1)....to the right of the doorway, and left of her head closeup in the videos, you will see the 4 colors of the MS Vista Logo (Red, Green, Yellow, & Blue), flag in a circle . The Feathers will form the AMD logo. Her vanishing point is where the 2 meet on the release date.

Sry, playing catch up as I was out of town this weekend.

The same 4 colors show up as reflections in her glasses over time watching the videos in order...Try to watch that spot in the background on each video (they rock it back and forth w/ Loki as the anchor hiding it, or hidden off the screen edge constantly. We should see more of it once she either hits that last chair or disappears. Yellow was first upper left, green & red was lower right, blue was down below...But they move together as the videos progress. We can almost see the completed picture in this last video to her left. And it is the last item shown before the videos move off.

Sry, my countdown clock mysteriously "re-appeared" for Seattle.

It was indeed the Mad Hatter's tea party that had everyone moving down to get a "clean cup". Something that also struck me about that spec ... the very first week, the watch face is actually a teacup that Loki is looking down into. (Nearly everyone disagrees with me on this point, but I'm 100% positive that it's a teacup that we're seeing.)

Curiouser ...

So "right up right down left" could correspond to "green red green yellow blue"...

Also, I think Loki is more likely to correspond to 'old' Windows than Vista.
