[Grey District] Shooting Profile [SOLVED]
in Safe House Epsilon

Quote:
The underground lost a good man a week ago. A handful of our people were smuggling an important refugee out of the badlands and into the city when an unknown sniper took out Lee Broadland, one of our most respected leaders. We want you to find out what happened that night.

The people there scattered after the shooting, before reaching the City, and we haven't been able to find the refugee. For security, identities in these sorts of operations are usually known only to a few of us. Only Broadland knew exactly who was there that night, and he took that information to the grave.

We have a guy who works recyke for DefenseCorp, and can spot a choice piece of trash when he sees one. The timestamps on this transcript match up with the shooting, but all the dialog has been blacked out! See if you can get anything out of this. What we really need is a description to put out so we can find the person that was there that night. If you can gather anything, send it in.

The submission form asks for the following:

GENDER, BUILD, HAIR, CLOTHING.

Ok, i modified the image, messed with some of the values to try and pull any meaningful stuff out of it.

I ran it through a threshold, and i could make out two descriptions:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Female, Tall (This is a maybe, somebody try it, i haven't yet, not gonna risk any more of my Karma), Long black hair, Red Jacket.
and
Male, Six Feet, Blond hair, Thick build, Black Coat.

If you can decipher the rest of the text, you will realize that the agent is a sniper, and he takes out the man. So that means its the woman the man was with was who was there.

Be careful though, i put in what i thought was correct just to give it a shot, and it came back wrong. However, i ALSO received negative karma because i didn't get it right.

EDIT: made a mistake in the spoiler...
Be careful with your answers from here on out, i think we now have punishments for wrong answers.

EDIT AGAIN: Yea, be careful, i just tried again, and lost my Blue Karma...
Yeah, and my edit to the post was wrong... putting it back to what it was.

*Sad Face* :*(

I can confirm that Female / Tall / Black / Red Jacket doesn't work.
Neither does Female / Tall / Long Black / Red Jacket
Neither does Female / Tall / Long Black Hair / Red Jacket

Just putting my personal opinion here, but I don't think the karma/credit cost of puzzle attempts is one of the greatest ideas in the world. It creates a disincentive for puzzle solving while reducing the process to a right answer / wrong answer system for questions that are often ambiguous in nature (take, for example, our multiple attempts with the same wording for this and the Dogma puzzle)

From the transcript, it looks like the female was with them, but the male was hit.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
agent:
All quiet. No ???? within the target. Requesting permission to move forward to innermost ?? post

RQ:
Permission denied. Stay put out there ??. I don't like the angles on the innermost now that the truck has moved.

agent:
Got it.

agent:
Wait a minute. We have bodies in the target... I count three.

agent:
Make that four. There is a woman with them. Slim, long black hair, red jacket.

RQ:
Do you have the line on them?

agent:
Got one. Male, six feet, thick build, blond hair, black coat. He is moving. Permission to tag.

RQ:
Permission to tag. He is mobile, the window is closing.

agent:
Hit him.

I can't get anything out of it either though, even using "thin" rather than tall.

EDIT: That's why. The answer is:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Female, Slim, Long black, red jacket.
