Email Phyllis STG Logo and Dianas Charecter

Dearest Sunny,
Didn't I thank you for it when I received your e-card? Am I completely lapsing in my social graces? I only mentioned the two I received yesterday to acknowledge them since I was pressed for time and couldn't immediately thank them directly. Please don't feel slighted.

I'm afraid everyone has misunderstood my description of the STG letters. It wasn't a professionally done symbol; it was crudely drawn letters as though the young people had made it up for themselves. The letters on the boy's T-shirt were fluorescent orange with lime green outlines while the girl had done a somewhat more tidy version on her back pack that was hot pink. I probably shouldn't have called it a logo except seeing that they both had those letters seemed to suggest some kind of brand or group identity to me.

I must say I found the link to those "Screaming to God" people rather
disturbing. What a gruesome-looking, rag-tag bunch they are!

I'm afraid I can't really tell you any more about Diana than I already have.
She was a lovely woman with a generous spirit. Her character, from what I could tell, was ethical and up-right. Does the group have some information that indicates otherwise? If so, then I'm afraid I don't want to hear it. I don't think I could bear knowing she was wearing a mask, too. So many of the people here have turned out to be quite other than I had previously thought them to be. I am thinking of Wes who I always took to be a clownish eccentric and now realize, well, I'm not sure I yet understand exactly what he is.

Now I am going to try to focus my thoughts and write to you again later to fill you in on recent developments.

With deep affection,
Phyllis
