Rejection Email and Answers

I received the rejection email this morning, telling me they don't have any openings that match my skill set.

To the best of my knowledge, the answers I gave leading to my rejection were ACBCCBA. Stepping through the code, I seem to be of type 3. Or, at least I think the function would return 3 based on the values of my PRC array (prc[1]==2, prc[2]==2, prc[3]==3).

So...Now I'm aiming for being a Type 2. My answers for resubmitting the application are:
CBBBACA

That makes sure all of my answers have a value of "2" (prc[2] == 7, if my reading of the code is correct).

You guys don't know 1337? Heh. It might take some time, but the message can be decoded. For example....

"4rE m0r3 p49#S 1753lf. 4r3 4# h7m7 0r?-?4r. ?n33 #?1ck 1nDeX3D ...
!? 3nT3R 3n4 ?3. fOr 7h47 qu#ry S1m1l4r 17. 0R ?0p mIGH? M# ...
r33zUltz da c4# p4g3 250m t4 tD:."

can be translated as

"are more pages itself. are a# html or har. ?nee #?ick indexed ...
!? enter ena ?e. for that quary Similar it. or ?0p might M# ...
reezUltz da ca# pages r5om ta td:."

Ok, so i'm not perfect. Whoever wrote this is very good with 1337. I haven't used leet in a while, so i'm a bit rusty. I have some friends who are more 1337 than i. I'll ask them.

oh we know it's 1337speak... but in all the forums out there where this is being discussed (at least googlable), I haven't seen a comprehendable translation...
*shrug* maybe your friends might have some new input.

Indeed, they do. My friends over at the Adult Swim Message Board responded to me by saying that the message is complete gibberish. There are some translatable words, but overall, it's nonsense.

We should move on from this email. It was a long shot in the first place, considering it came from a webcomic.

Well, my answers were CCCACCC and I just got the rejection letter. I think I'll let it ride and see where that leads me. If it's not good, I'll have to join the 3's or 1's or whoever is getting the action.

Regarding the webcon e-mail, I agree that it is probably worthless at this point, but think if there is anything worth anything in this, it's this phase:

(1##BrS10# t3xN0l0933

It's obvious that t3xN0|0933 = Technology.

What is the other? Ideas?

( could be c and 1 either L or I. Then again, (1 could be "d".

I don't think it is cybersion technology. I did google that and there are some results, but nothing interesting at this point.

The #'s seem to be wild cards at this point.

Diversion Technology?
Ci??bersion Technology?
Cyberslow Technology?

Just hoping something is there Very Happy

I think dposse is right about the email from the comic.

Most likely there isn't any more to the game right now than the enrollment stage...the next stage will probably start around the time of next week's episode.

lol. I checked my email not five minutes ago, and had nothing new. I went back after catching up with this thread, and voila. My Primatech email was there. Status: Rejected!

Any accepted applications?

Has anybody received a second email from Primatech saying anything other than they have no opportunities? A number of follow up emails should have gone out today with either rejection or acceptance of applications. All I've seen posted here are rejections.

Type 1 and Type 2 applicants should be getting something different...

WAP Site

Has anybody played around the WAP site? I haven't seen anything on here about it. If you go to http:www.primatechpaper.com/wap and click on careers, it asks for your name and mobile number. fill it out and click submit, and I got this:

Quote:
Trying to crack into this thing. I'll let you know how when I do. Give me about a week.

Who is trying to crack into it? Why? I'm guessing we'll learn more Monday or Tuesday.

Maybe I should read the comics...

This may be a long shot as I am new to these games, but do you think it's possible that that being rejected could be a second entryway to the game. There has been debate about whether or not people getting accepted would be working for the "bad" guys. Is it possible that the game could take two paths and those who got rejected may just be moving forward on a different path?

Again, just some random speculations from a noob.

Check the post immediately above yours, as well as a page back or so in the thread.
