I think I was spot on without realizing it.

First off, yes, Beastkiller is very likely a game-jack attempt.

Early on in this arg, (look at the first, say, 3 pages?) there was a poster who was causing alot of suspicion about his involvement in the game. I think we lost a few players early on because of this. Last night, that chat with Jared (and others with the suspected "character") really lead me to believe that everyone's first impressions were correct.

When BK showed up on the scene, and started to take over most of the thread with discussion on his/her clues, suddenly, an "old" face from the past shows up, adamantly claiming that BK was a jack. Later, in the chat, a person by a different name, who claimed to be a different person, but "sharing" an unForum acct, showed up, parroting the exact message about BK, and becoming extremely defensive (especially in the separate chat between the two of us) when asked if he was the same person who suddenly reappeared on the forum. The whole situation is shady as hell, and if he is indeed not working with the PM, then he is single-handedly ruining the game for many of us.

So, that, combined with the fact that "Jared" could not come up with a plausible explaination of his knowlege of BK, (see the chat posted on the second task thread...I was the one asking Jared about BK...neither dan or I told him about it previously) led me to believe that there were a few breaches of TOS going on.

For what it's worth, I think this is all the result of a relatively new PM learning the ropes, and running in to a snag with a game-jacker. I can understand that; I have to imagine that dealing with that kind of stuff would be a real PITA. However, it was really disappointing the way that (I strongly believe) the PM tried to work around it. There are other, more creative and subtle ways of working around this that could got us back on track.

But, we all screw up, that's just life. We all have to learn somehow....there is no such thing as perfection, right?

ps...I'm going to miss Beastkiller!! I loved those puzzles!! Crying or Very sad

Haha April. I have no problem with you using my name. My name is Ryan Halloway + Yes I am on Ben's account. Why? Because none of us here in cali use unforums for anything other than this one thread. Thus being said, Stephen, Chelsy, Ben, and I all share this account, originally made by Ben.

Now for your accusations.

As for me being Ben. That's obviously not true. We have two different sn's, and emails. Plus we both live in two different states halfway across the US from each other. He lives in PA, and I in Cali. If you do not believe me I can give you my number if need be. (951-880-0341)

Second of all, my friends and I have discussed the BK subject numerous times at lunch. (yes we all go to the same school besides ben). And it became apparent that Jareds reaction to BK and BK's sporadic and feeble messages were a hoax. Yes, this may be a game but it became apparent to all of us that BKs actions were erroneous and thus a pathetic attempt to control Jared's "game".


Third, although my actions could be seen as suspicious, if you are looking for someone to point the finger at, I AM NOT IN GAME. I really have no way of proving this to you, and I am sure that you may continue to be suspicious, even until after this game has ceased and the final word comes from the REAL pm. But I really do not want to be responsible for bringing this game down. If you can't enjoy this game for what the pm has created, and instead must dissolve into petty squabbles over people who share an account, that that's your problem and not mine. Please stop cluttering the thread with silly accusations. Just play the game and have fun.

If you wish to discuss the matter further you may either im or email myself or any of the following; ben, chelsy, stephen , terry, Freddie. That's a long list for you to question.

-And as for my absence, that is my own personal business.

-You can check how long I have had my aim account if you believe I'm in game also. Because I've had mine for awhile now, and if you check Jared's it was only made a few weeks ago, about a day before the "game" began.

I've played an arg before but im hopelessly new at codes etc, so I thought this would be a good place to start, unfortunatly I just read everyones* dead, which is a bit of a bugger xD

*exaggerated for dramatic purposes

However, if I can be of any help (pointing out the obvious/offering cookies/making suspense noises/conspiracy theories) then I'm yer gal!

 		lol the PM's girlfriend said he died in a fire. Though no one could find an obit. With the people here ,there is no way we wouldn't have found one. So we are assuming he staged his death because the game was dieing.

 		The Real Person behind the Beast of Black River
Just so all you crazed fans of the Beast of Black River, its all a hoax. The creator of this online game is my friend, who's name I will not mention. At first I didn't know who it was, because these kinds of people always seem to contact me (most of which end up being my friend) and the rest of my group of friends from school. But after look through this forum, several things popped out at me. One was the creator's use of several different screen names. I believe that the writer behind JAredMathison and several others was the same person based off of the writing style used, which was also very similar to my friend's. The next thing that stood out was the "Frettie's" resturant. In the town in which I live, there's a catoring place/ restaurant, called FRETTA'S, at which my friend used to work, though as far as I know his mother did not. I also believe that he ended this game because it was also the day I flipped on him for tricking me in another online game. So I'm sorry to all of you who are disappointed by this information.
