No worries. I very much doubt that a task has begun. I only just received a message "she was the first, but wont be the last" thus meaning there will be more killings.

So far, the only "fretties" references I've found is that it's German (slang?) for "ferret"... Foily!

...I always knew those little bastards were no good! (ok, I admit, they are kinda cute... Laughing

)

Nothing against them really... when "fretties" translates to "ferrets" rather than "the beast is allergic to marinara sauce", I was a bit disapointed! Evil or Very Mad

aw, don't worry!!

I emailed the teen club posing as a potential customer, and got a response with another email...bold text is mine...

It's good to hear that you're interested in the Black River Teen Club as a way to host your niece's birthday party. The Teen Club would be an excellent choice. We can hire a DJ for your party, we provide food, and we have a selection of recent DVD releases that the children can watch. Also, there is a possibility of a clown, depending on the age of your niece.

Let us know which services you'd like, and we'll let you know how much it'll cost you.

Finally, if you're interested in staying in Black River, then we'd suggest the Johnson Motel which is a few blocks away. They don't have a website, but you can reach them at JohnsonMotelSPLATgmail.com. Good luck with everything!

Ok..here goes..

IM'd Jared this evening. He said that not only was his mom still missing, but his dad was now essentially MIA. He had gone out earlier (see Chpt 6) to look for her with Sgt. Monroe, Mr. Meltzer (Tom's dad - he was deputized by Monroe for the occasion!), and a Mr. Johnson, the brother of the hotel owner.

Jared has not been able to get ahold of his father via cell, and he said the rest of the groups' cell's were also dead. He said that if he did not hear anything from his father by 8:00, he was going to call the police.

There was a chat with Jared, tGeCkO, and Cstrife311, and me, in which basically, we all agreed that while we've turned over every stone, we've found nothing yet. No idea why his mom was taken. At about 7:02 eastern time, Jared left to go over to Ben Stieh's house, just around the block from his own.

so...that's where we're at. No ferrets were harmed in the typing of this post.
