changing sides

Alrighty, due to me being bored with character ineractions (ok, i admit, i'm jealous of everyone else talking to the characters!!!) I've decided to leave the Foo camp. I'm not sure where I'm going, so I decided to put out a couple of feelers. I sent both Bishop and Ethan messages about askign them a couple of questions and about safe communication. Overnight I received the answers (ok over night for me, this morning for everyone else).
Here's Bishop's:

BISHOP LIES, anyone who has recieved a message from me will se <sniffme> on top before the text, which only works for me bcause bishop had to "install" an interface upgrade for me, so he probaly dont trust you...

We can't legitimately use your info, anyway

Because you are posting your info on the unfiction forums, as BrianEnigma pointed out to me, anyone who did not receive this info ingame--or in their own email from a game character--then they are not allowed to use it as they play. This may be one of the reasons that some of the private messages in Deus City take some time to get to us--as notgordian told us, the PMs assured the players at the beginning that they would make sure that if someone used info that they could only have accessed on unfiction forums, then they would make sure that this would avail them nothing.

It was with that understanding that I posted my own information, and that some of the others have posted their own info. So try not to worry--hopefully, the PMs will come through for us. It seems like they already have on some things.

first, you can use things IG with the posters permission (like i asked Wabogan a question and he answered me and let me tell Foo i talked with him) that said, everything i post is OOG unless you have my permission on that particular item.

I received a reply back from ETHAN!!! YIPEE!!! Here's what I wrote to him in an email:

anything. There is plenty I can't explain, but I will do what I can.

ummm let this be known... foo was right, you're a punk ass kid! (LOL j/k) i like my role right now.... so i think i'll pass.... i suggest you do a bunch of research though and bone up on the causes of his death... not sure how unless they planted some fake webpages online about it.

In Father Beck's profile he has the obligatory evangelical call to faith, within it however, if you take all of the capitalised letters they nicely anagram into SCAMFEST. Something is definitely not all at peace with this man.

Cfreak got back to me about the FreekAleek issue--he says it shouldn't BE an issue. I also asked him about making conversations a little more secure, and he seems to be referring to what Trace mentioned earlier.

Don't worry about the silence. Defense-Corp limited some of the communication while the interface was being worked on. Rest assured we will continue to try and improve it. We've heard through various means suggestions from agents to make communication easier. We ask that you give us time and many of them will become reality.

Its annoying really. It seems that the future could have just sent us the code but since they didn't, they can't :-/

Sent cfreak a reply, basically thanking him for looking into it, and idly inquiring about getting directly in contact with DCorp employees rather than going through himself or Foo.

So, basically, a whole bunch of nothing. Also a clever dodge as to why future-Me has nothing to say to myself. This does at least reveal an alternative to the monolithic determinism seemingly shared by most of the IG characters.
