Good job people!

Wait, what?

DoS

Denial of Service. When a website gets too much traffic, they often tend to shut down. There's nothing there but a link to my flickr page and some old papers that I wrote in college from when I was trying to get work as a Technical Writer. I usually get about 500k a month of traffic, and in the last 4 hours I've gotten about 45Mb. It's like when someone steals your credit card that you never use and go on a shopping spree. Usually the bank calls you and says... "Um. Have you gone insane, because you usually don't spend 14,000 dollars in a day at SharperImage."

Similar thing.

The capitalized letters (not counting names and beginnings of sentences) are:

BDSDSWCWHHWTSBHB

No vowels....

While I was writing them to post, my internet connection went down. I almost stopped with this one right then.

Anyone here recognize this as any standard kind of crypto?

i focused more on the words that were capitalized that shouldn't be
Users
Down
Started
Dream
Sick
Worry
Crazy
Wrong
Hurt
Horror
Worry
Take
Struggled
Battle
Hurt

10 of these words have negative connotations. 3 others can also have negative meanings.
strange quirk for someone who claims to be fully recovered from a mental breakdown.

went ahead and registered as well Very Happy

i must reiterate that the capitalization of those words and the theme of writing is very similar to past serial killers, most notably the zodiac.

but that's the point, probably!

i'm going to continue investigating cory wolfe. that's the last dead end we reached.

One that you missed is Bye (goodBye). That's the one that stood out to me. Also, his mention of Jesus Christ seems odd.

Plus, I'm not so sure this was entirely written last summer. He says he moved his blog because his other website went down. which means he may have cut and pasted the posts into the new blog...which means they could have been created later.

i'm not sure what to think about the last blog entry at all.

his writing style changes incredibly. he does that weird capitalization thing that never happened even when he went "crazy". he then encourages everyone to watch his videos.

not to mention he just randomly decided to update it after almost a year.

4am here.

Gotta crash. Strange as this all is, it's a really long way from me. I think I'm safe, at least for tonight.

Good luck. Stay safe.

What the hell, indeed. I think this whole thing is by far the strangest thing I've ever encountered.

I tried to post a comment on his blog, but it doesn't allow anonymous comments. Not a big deal to sign up, but I thought that was kind of odd.

yes but can you manipulate the timestamps in blogger postings? i'm not sure. i still think its odd that the videos have been up for so long with no activity.

I wonder that too, is there any blogger around? I dont use them, never had either. If you indeed can alter the time stamps the whole thing gets a whole bit less genious.

even if he did manipulate the timestamps, he claims he moved them over from his own website. therefore the timestamps might not apply to the blogger blog, but to the original one.

wow, that looks pretty confusing.

I can alter date and time stamps on my blog. It's not hosted by Blogger, but I have a little clock when I go to edit a post (after it's written and posted). If I click on it I can change the date and time of the post.

Here's some quirkiness....I can even set the time and date and post in the future.....So, if you go to my blog, my most recent post says it was created March 3, 2007, even though I wrote this particular post January 3.

I won't link because it's unimportant, unrelated, and shameless promotion. You'll just have to take my word for it that it's possible.
