OK, last night Cyberus and I came up with a "Story So Far" This does not include all of the potential codes or lists of names as has previously been posted, although the names are in here. Instead this is LITERALLY the story so far. Be ready, it's 1,461 words:

A link to the first video was posted on UnForums, taking us to Google Video. There we were informed of an In-Game TV Signal Hijacking in Wyoming, where the video had aired. Gmiller, the original owner of Video 1, may have broadcast the video in the hijacking.

Later, in the comments for Video 1, iliketowatch posted a link to Video 2 on YouTube. The second video was posted by givemeanumber, aka Jamie. Jamie claimed the video had arrived on his doorstep. This video was owned by someone who called himself Jack Q. Pembry. Somehow it got to Donald Wilson. We don't know (nor does the PM) how it got to Jamie.

youcanwatchnow (in an apparent violation of the ToS) posted a link to Video 3 on Google Video. This video was labeled as a part of the poster's brother's video collection. The older brother's name was Danny C. (possibly Cable). He obtained the video while in Yellowknife, NT, Canada. His brother Robert posted it on Google Video following Danny's suicide.

In a comment to Video 3, iliketoread posted a link to gmiller's blog. The blog chronicled gmiller's descent into madness as he coped with the video(s). He seemed to think that the video files were multiplying, claiming there were 333 of them. They made him think bad thoughts and write horror stories. Sometime in the summer of 2006, gmiller stopped posting. Until the day we found the link. In his most recent post (at the time), gmiller claimed that he was returning home to his family, that he was done with his craziness. In the blog, he said that we must find Donald Wilson from Wyoming.

A search for Donald Wilson turned up an obituary in the area of the original TV Hijacking. A call to Donald Wilson resulted in nothing. However, a call to his stepson Robert Vreugdenhil gave us a recording of what seemed to be a Heart Monitor ending in a flatline. A rerverse lookup of the number gave us another name. Looking up the second name gave us another number. This second number had been disconnected. The phone calls are most likely creepy OOG coincidences.

Next, gmiller made another post to his blog directing us to The Happy Cube forum. The Happy Cube seemed to be a meeting place for serial killers planning a convention in either Indiana or Tennessee in 2005. In 2004, the posts stopped, leaving no clue if the group was still around or if the conference had happened. The leader of the group, Jack Q. Pembry (see above), had recently posted a warning that the person spreading the video was dangerous and had made the members of The Happy Cube do things they otherwise would not have done. He warned us to stay away. We all began registering at The Happy Cube any way, but had to wait for administrator approval before we could post.

Back at gmiller's blog, the PM seemed to have taken over. He claimed that gmiller had not recovered and was instead in a vegetative state. He threatened to (and later did) erase all of gmiller's blog posts. He then asked for a "vessel" for Video 4, eventually choosing Esteed. He sent the video via email and it was posted at unForums and YouTube.

Following the release of Video 4, the PM said he would answer 3 questions. The first question was where did the videos come from. The response was: "What you now think of as a series of video has always existed in some form or another. They have been available as Carvings in stone, scrolls, pamphlets, books, etc. Not long ago I was charged with the task of updating them into a more modern form of media. I contacted a young native in the Northern Territories of Canada who had Strayed from his kin and their beliefs. He was rather Pretentious, but it didn't take much to convince him to work for me. He was very resourceful and already had a large library of programs and sounds. I spoke with him for 23 hours, describing what it was I wanted done. He took notes and complied. Eventually he realized that I was not part of any sort of art project and that his works would not be used in the way he wanted them to be. He became very Irate. He's Gone now. I sold the first three videos myself. You already have heard of the three people who bought them, though there are many connections you may not have made."

The second question was what is the purpose of what he is updating. The response was: What I am updating Serves various purposes. For one, it Inspires many of those who view it in small, subtle ways and those who own it in very strong ways. Modifying people in such a manner helps to guide society down the Path that my people believe is the best. They also Serve as a very important part of our belief system. They help to strengthen us and keep us healthy. They are the most sacred objects in our world. They are the winning card in the Game we play with Humanity."

The third was what connections have we missed. The response was: This is not a question I can answer fully. However, there are some examples I can give you. First of all, the man who Took the moniker Jack Q. Pembry bought the second video. I wouldn't try getting in touch with him. He's Gone. The Robert mentioned on Gregory Miller's blog is not Donald Wilson's stepson. He is Danny's brother. Two separate people sharing a common name, you see. He's still Kicking around, though in all honesty I can't guarantee you his last name is Cable. So, here are the three people who bought the videos from me personally: Jack Q. Pembry (alias), Daniel C., Gregory Miller. You have yet to discuss how the second video got from Pembry to Donald Wilson to Jamie to Youtube. Donald Wilson wasn't himself when he began his little collection, as his Obituary seems to hint. Of course, researching ol' Donald will just lead to a Dead end (literally) for you, which causes me to wonder why no one has investigated the others yet.

I'd be following Jamie's Youtube profile for the next few days. The first chance you get to contact him, do it. I never figured him into my equation, so his presence is, to put it lightly, slightly Aggravating to me, and even I don't fully understand how the video got from Wilson to him, though I have some ideas. There may be a group of Interlopers trying to get my videos to people I would generally consider Unworthy. If you want my help, I suggest you Stop them. Follow my advice about Jamie, and eventually you'll know what to do. In the End, you're going to end up helping me take care of Jamie no matter what it is you truly want to do. Don't make it Difficult for yourself by trying to Misbehave.

The Interlopers may be my sisters. I would elaborate about them further, but that wasn't your question. A hint - TOPIC: THE RECURRING THEME OF DUALITY IN MYTHOLOGY.

The entire gmiller (Gregory Miller) blog was deleted and we were finally given access to post at The Happy Cube. The first thing posted was the story "The Masks We Wear", by iliketofix. He also posted the Nine Sisters Means puzzle. We were able to complete his sentence: nine sisters means nine brothers. This told us that he was a part of or works for the Nine Dark Muses. He later gave us their names: Caustic Words, Disrepute, Repulsive, Hopeless, Discord, Barbarism, Paranoia, Wilting, Materialism.

He also told us that he would release Video 5 on Ares and instructed us to read any further stories he posted on The Happy Cube. We received Video 5 and were granted the ability to ask him another question. The question was have we received any encoded information. His response was: Somewhat. I have dropped many hints at what is exactly going on, there are many Unconnected connections, much backstory seems to have gone Unnoticed, etc.
However, I have made no little Riddles or word Games you have missed. Well, none that are necessary to fulfilling my work. Perhaps I will in the future. Perhaps not.

He then asked us a question: How have the videos and stories affected (he used effected) us? He also informed us that the Children (presumably, the Black eyed Kids from the stories) are watching (and following) us. And he will decide when and how to release videos 6 and 7. He says that video 6 is an important one in the story.

I guess I'm in for this one too. LOL I saw a weird banner ad a little while ago that and a child with black eyes on it. I was hitting my back button to get back to another page at the time. When I tried to go back to look at the ad it said page could not be displayed. That really weirded me out. I guess Im jumpy after reading 37 pages on the forum, watching the vids and reading the cubing forum.

Well, it has the same photo of the old couple as Jack's Fight Club homepage (http://www.thehappycube.iwarp.com/), so I am guessing it *has* to be involved.

i think that may be a default image that comes with freeservers websites. i know my old one had that sunrise/cloud picture for about a quarter of the images.

In the Smith family geneaology, there is no Donald Wilson. there is a Mae Wilson. No gregory miller, but there is a lydia miller. I know these are rather common names....

hhmmm...under reference, it lists world history and culture. the only entry is from Japan....

viral, you might be right about that picture. on Jack's page he says he decided to leave it there.

I guess just another strange dead end.

The Doc Manhattan site looks OOG. On a side note, I've never been a comic book fan, but I have read "The Watchmen" series (where Doctor Manhattan is from), and that was honestly one of the best things I have ever read in my life. Still love the smiley face logo.

Ha ha ha...I won't trout you. I was editing my post when you posted, so technically, I wasn't done with it. So you win.
I am a little freaked out right now. I just went past the window here in my office, and two young children were walking on the sidewalk past the factory I work at. For just a split second, it looked like they had stopped, and then started walking again when I saw them.
Being new to these ARG things, I am amazed at how much they can mess with your mind.
