[White District] Conservation - Solved

I don't see a topic heading for this puzzle anywhere so I thought I'd start one.

Is the Conservation puzzle in the Temporal Intelligence Building new? If it's been mentioned somewhere feel free to hand me a fish.

Looks new to me. Go ahead and quote it out in your post.

EDIT: By the way, the correct answer (it's an easy one, I'll let you all figure it out Wink) gives you negative karma, 10 prestige and 400 creds.

EDIT 2: Okay, I'll give you a hint:

The hint was for the less mathematically-inclined. The answer was my first instinct, but I did double check.

I wasn't able to see the puzzle itself cause I'm not red enough. That is part of the reason I asked if it had been mentioned before - I just saw the puzzle entry with the ubiquitous "3 agents have solved this" statement.

So I guess I should edit the title to say "solved?"

Actually, now that you mention it, I've had a couple of first solves this week - including this one - and each time it's come up with '1 agent has solved this' (i.e. me). I think our theory that there are 3 test solves for each puzzle is wrong; I think that there actually are 3 agents who have solved Audiophile and Composure - they're just choosing not to share Sad .

Oh HO now! That puts an interesting spin on things!

I have often found myself wondering if there exists some specific instructions to that effect: ie, when you solve a given puzzle along with your prestige/credit statement there is an additional statement saying NOT to share the answer. I am sure that is quite unlikely, though and I am just being paranoid! Wink

Ask and you shall receive.

DefenseCorp likes to evaluate our Temporal Agents from time to time to ensure they are staying sharp and ready.

If two pill bottles contain an equal number of pills and a set number of pills are removed from the first bottle and mixed with the pills in the second bottle; then the same number of pills are randomly removed from the second bottle and placed in the first bottle - which bottle contains more pills from the other bottle?

As for the three agents choosing not to share theory, I would believe that were it not for the fact that the IG agents have ignored questions about "which agents have solved the puzzle" questions. Chris proved the information can be looked up, and people finding out Ariana solved "Four Keys" proves they're normally willing to give that information out.

Either that or the PMs just hate me. Sad Sad Sad

I could have sworn ariana told that she finished......looked like: After many hours and 1000 credits later, I finally have it......or something like that.
