Email Iris Last Nights Visions and more

I apologize that this email goes out much later than I had planned. I was in the process of working up this next edition when I, sad as it is to say, fell asleep. I guess that is one of the hazards of using a laptop in bed.

Last night I went back work at the Willingham's after dinner. I was still
hoping that we would come up with something, anything to tell me what is going on.

Anyway, we wandered around the house with the statue again and when we came to a room that Phyllis said they never used, it happened. I found myself back at the Ashram with Sarah. She was around the same age as in my previous visions and appeared to be disheveled and very upset. She was lying in a small bed in a darkened room with just a small bit of light streaming in from the door which had been left cracked open. The walls were covered with pieces of paper, all with hand drawn artwork; some of which was complex and well-done, others were childish and rudimentary. It was hard to make out any details in the dim light, so I could not tell exactly what was on the papers. Sarah was awake, holding the worn covers halfway up her face, but I could see her eyes open and peeking out. On a little table by her bed was the small statue that Wes calls Digitalis, though it was in a half-finished state. As I looked around I began to hear low voices coming from the next room. "You know she cannot come with us. She has a role to fulfill here." Another voice, "I know, I know. The path before her will not be easy." The first voice then said, "She will have help and guidance, my friend. And, you know, others will be left behind to obscure her trail. The Nine Eternal have resources beyond even those we serve." There was a long pause during which I could see and hear Sarah start to sob softly. I wanted to reach out and touch her, but my instincts warned me against interfering just yet. The first voice again said, "Now, hurry my friend. We have need of haste as they are coming." I heard Sarah sobbing as the vision ended and I found myself facing Phyllis with tears in my eyes. I do not know which of us was more upset at the idea of children being abandoned like that, but we agreed that we had done enough for one day and I headed back to the B&B.

This morning I awoke to a knock on the door and found that I had overslept and not only missed breakfast but would have to shower quickly and leave if we were to get to the Willingham's house on time.

I think I was exhausted from all the dreams I had again last night. Over and over I was chased and confronted by men in dark suits, but one in particular disturbed me. I was standing in a room so dark that I could not see anything more than twenty feet away from me in any direction. I could hear the sounds of movement and breathing and as I looked around, I found myself surrounded by the men in dark suits once more. I finally got a good look at their faces and was taken aback by how dead and lifeless their eyes seemed to be. Slowly, perhaps in time to some drum that I could not hear, they came closer, ever tightening the circle around me. I turned around, hoping for a break through which I could escape, but there was nothing I could do. They moved ever closer and as they neared I noticed something odd. They all were wearing glittering silverish rings on one hand. Some had the ring on the left and some on the right, but they all wore one of them. I tried to speak but I got the terrifying sensation of being underwater, where every time I would open my mouth and take a breath to speak, my body would be filled with something, but perhaps I was just giving into my terror and letting it gain control of me. One of them reached for me and just as I felt him touch me, the knocking began on my door. I have never been so happy to be awoken in my life, let me tell you!

I am sure that Phyllis will report her dream to you if she has not already.
That woman is a constant source of amazement for me. I swear she could very well turn out to be a talented seer, if only she would allow herself to move out of the strict limits she has placed upon herself. What was the symbolism she mentioned to me the other day? I believe she said she felt like a butterfly about to spread its wings and fly. I truly hope I am able to see
the results!

Anyway, after I got to the house and Phyllis and I talked, she decided to take the statue back so that Wes would not have that to hold over our heads. I tried to reconnect with the entities and energies in the house, but to no avail. I am not sure what has happened, but something has occurred to appease them. They seem to not be as upset, or as active. I have asked Phyllis if she was alright with my giving her house a few days rest and looking into some of the other aspects of the case that I am just dying to pursue. I really think that all of these seemingly separate events are linked and the key to helping Phyllis is finding what the commonalities are.

I will detail everything that happened after I left Phyllis at her house in my next email. Our dinner should be ready soon and I do not want to upset the innkeeper by missing yet another meal!

Iris

Wes called the Statue Digitalis?

Well this seems like it is the point of course where Sarah was abandoned willingly by her parents. She apparently had special powers back then. Maybe the other children were left behind by them, you know saftey in numbers, to keep anyone from seeing special Sarah was. Or it could be the DEGs
Now what exactly is the role that she has to fulfill?
