[SPEC] Neuro-Linguistic Programming - Bryan Wilson Involved?
could Professor Wilson be part of the experiment?

While researching Neuro-Linguistic Programming today, I read the following on the Principles of NLP Wikipedia Entry:

Quote:
Rapport is necessary for effective communication

Rapport, the term for the relational quality of a connection between two communicating individuals, is a highly subjective term. Good rapport is characterized by a sense of ease with another, trust, and easy flow of dialog. Whilst psychotherapy outcome research - in which the effectiveness of psychotherapy is measured by questionnaires given to patients before, during, and after treatment - has had difficulty distinguishing between the different types of therapy, research has clearly shown, however, that the quality of the relationship between therapist and patient is a crucial predictor of psychotherapy outcome.

Accordingly, most contemporary schools of psychotherapy focus on the healing power of the therapeutic relationship. NLP adds to this, its own focussed insights into what exactly consitutes rapport, factors which allow it to be built and maintained, and how one may distinguish good quality and poor quality rapport in a dialog.

This got me thinking about Bryan Wilson's friendly relationship with Eva. Could he be a part of the experiment, ie. building up a strong rapport with Eva in order to allow whoever's behind the experiments to attain their goals?

EDIT: looking at Wilson's profile on the SRI website he certainly does seem to fit the "friendly neighbourhood brainwasher" profile:

Quote:
Unblocking what you are, setting your powers free from childhood self-protective patterns can allow you to become a more proactive member of any community. It's what you do with your past and your frustrations that matters, getting over them, using them positively.

Your thoughts are welcome.

After today's messages form Keir to Eva there's no real doubt in my mind that Wilson in involved in the NLP experiment.

Agree Thunderwolf

Talk about a convoluted arg, how many spirals (levels) are there to this ARG? It just gets better and better.

To the PMs, I'm loving it.
