I also sent Joe Magarac, because I couldn't resist the "riveting" pun.

BTW nice solve on this one Aislyn, I am duly impressed.

I sent in the solve as well. I too played off of the rivet pun, and said that Joe Magarac was most riveting.

Embarassed Aw, thanks. I'm glad I was able to make myself useful while on a "snow day" from work. Wink

Not sure anymore, guys & gals. I just got this today

On the folded page

And the back of the envelope

Larger sizes are available on my flickr

ETA: For the beetle, I am thinking Johnny Appleseed (from the pic & the comment), but wasn't that the one with bessemer?
The Boot Pecos Bill as was already suggested.
And again, Mike Fink as was stated, wore a red plume

Looks to fit with the solve we already sent in...tCotSA must have sent this out before we started sending in our answers?

Yep, I think it definitely fits what we sent in. Joe Magarac was said to work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. And, as you said RedHatty, the other two fit as well.

It seems like our solve still holds up despite the fact that the tree drawing seems really out of place. Any date on the envelope RedHatty?

Its only been three days between aislyn's solve post, and your letter post, so we might have the answers right still.

yes there is a date, 14 Feb 2007

And I agree, other than the tree drawings, all the answers aislyn came up with fit perfectly
