It's also possible she's not exactly coherent, what with all the meds they're giving her, and after all the 3P put her through.

You'd think that if Scarlett were CT, she'd have broken down and admitted it by now.

Maybe she has.... maybe the 3P are going after the cube right now... all the more reason to find it quickly!! I reckon it will be found tomorrow anyway.... it looks like we have almost got everything wrapped up.

wait, 90%???! UH, that's like 1 whole missing finger. she's so doped up, she does not feel pain. I hope they only broke fingers, not cut them off, or up, or whatever. I know they were bloody, 3P loves to hurt people, I just Imagine the 3P asking her where the cube is, breaking a finger, and repeating.

I have a friend who severely burned her hands in a kitchen fire, so my first thought was of burns. Tissue regeneration would fit in with this, too. My friend has scars on her hands, but has regained the use of them. She does have arthritis in them, though.

My initial thought was it was probably more of a skin-melting icky burns type thing (maybe chemical or radiation - perhaps from trying to fiddle with something to try to bring the cube back) that had happened to the poor mite, rather than lopping off partial or whole digits. But maybe I'm just warped Confused

I imagine that the 90% is related to the feeling in her fingers. Depending on the damage to the pads, some scaring may be inevitable and would decrease the sensitivity of her fingertips.
Seven years ago, I cut a small part along the side of my index finger. It didn't go all the way through, and a few stitches closed it, but that area where the nerves were severed still feels different from the rest of my fingers.

Anyway enough medical talk... I hope she's feeling better soon, from the sound of things Perplex City has a damned good medical system.
