So this seems to be at least the 3rd time the #3 puzzle grid has been sent out, even after we have the puzzle "solved."

Looking back through the thread, it seems to me that we never definitively solved grid #3. Instead, we just assumed that the right answer had to give us an "E" in order to get The Slack Farm.

But what if that's wrong, and we're still getting #3 because we need to figure out what TH_ is (other than 'the') in order to get the password or something. Maybe?? It's a stretch, but I just find it odd that we are still receiving #3 rather than, say, #10, which we haven't gotten at all...

Also, weren't there supposed to be handwritten dates in the pages of that magazine? Do we know what they are?

 		The book I got in the mail yesterday
Dates written in the book
I found two dates written in the book. One of the dates is written in ink pen, while the other is written in pencil.

The date in ink is : July 25, 1968.
The date written in pencil just plainly says: 3-23-69.

I'm not sure whether or not the second set of numbers is a date or perhaps a combination to a lock of some kind.

Also there is a number one written on the 'B' of Beyond. That number is also written in ink.

If i find anymore numbers I'll post them here.

It looks like Sun-Yi has been kidnapped by the green-jacket guy.

Plus, Derek Matt & Sun-yi seem oddly oblivious to the videographer...

 		I don't know if this really explains what happens very well, but this is what Derek has to say:

We're still not sure if the guy in the green coat was who Sun-Yi was supposed to meet or not, but we think he was, based on something we found in his coat. You know that he grabbed Sun-Yi from behind, after she had run from him when she first saw him there and he tried to grab her. Matt and I were looking for her but couldn't find her but somehow the person filming the videos, who I have to think is CryptidTruth, did.

And yeah, he watched for a little while when the guy first grabbed Sun-Yi, but then he saved her. He jumped the guy and wrestled him to the ground. The creep only got away because his coat came loose, leaving Sun-Yi's rescuer holding only the damn green jacket. But Sun-Yi was OK.

Inside the coat's pockets we found a couple of things. Bear with me if it takes a bit to post pictures of them, but you'll understand when you see them.

I feel terrible for Amie, but I don't know if I can really understand the loss she's gone through the way Matt can.

I think it was Cryptidtruth who saved Sun-Yi from the Green Coat Guy, although I'm still not sure who the hell he is, or why he's involved in all this.

Cryptidtruth, you want to finally come clean? We'd all appreciate it.

DanteIL decoded the message in Green Coat Guy's pocket, which was already a heavy blow, just realizing that Sun-Yi's involvement went way deeper than just some obsessed MySpacer. Then I saw this. I can't even imagine what she's feeling right now. I think she's still in shock.

It kills me that this evil son of a bitch Genero is still out there somewhere. I hate just waiting, feeling powerless. Amie seems to have accepted Jon's fate and is ready to move on with her life, so why can't I? I never even liked the guy to begin with, and I actually feel like I'm going through the classic stages of grief over him. Mostly the anger stage, though.

It feels weird packing up and leaving NYC, even if it's just for a few days. Feels like there's so much left undone. Just found out today that this Scott Johnston guy may be more than just a grad student combing libraries and tapping away at a computer. It's really hitting me that in a matter of weeks, I'll be packing up and leaving this dorm for good. For all that's happened to her, at least Amie seems to have a place where she belongs. I know her family will welcome her back with open arms, even though I can tell she's terrified and wants me to come back to PA with her. Sun-Yi's going home to a different family than she left at the beginning of the fall semester. Sure, they'll look and sound the same, but if what Cryptidtruth says is true, they may as well be strangers. Can I in good conscience let her get on a train alone and go home to face that? Can I let Matt go home alone to an empty house full of memories?

If this Genero is such a great geneticist, maybe he knows some way I could clone myself and grow two more of me overnight, so I could be with all my friends at once. Cryptidtruth, could you find out for me? Just add water, like Sea Monkeys. But I know I can't, just like I know Sea Monkeys don't really wear hats and do tricks, X-ray specs can't really see through women's dresses, and I'm probably not going to get that check from the Nigerian Prince. Not every story has a happy ending.

Genero still has assistance in many locations so until he is dealt with, the danger remains both very real and very close.
