I think I might have gotten a similar message to taurenfreak. The exact thing (and I'm putting it in spoiler in case something actually comes out of it. If not, sorry!) for me is this:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Theophilus says: Very well since your betrayal is inevitable I will give you the rope with which to hang yourself... consider this:
If you could know when and where you were to die, would you want to know?
Are you familiar with the Cassandra Complex?
If you knew you had a destiny to fulfill half a millenium of history, could you do it?
-Even now as you all sit considering if you can change the future, I sit wondering if I dare change the past and fearing in my heart that to try would simply unmake me, you and everything we know. Take your dilemma which spans your life and multiply it by seventeen then permute it across all possiblity. If you begin to grasp this you will begin to understand the deeper reality. Now go.
I ask if they're similar because of the whole death question thing. I've already replied, so we'll see what it leads to. Theo seems to have a "betrayal" theme going on. Wonder what the PMs are planning...

OMG!! HE LIVES!!!!
Some long time ago, I don't even remember HOW long but probably over a month now, I sent the following to Theo trying to stir it up:
Quote:
To Theophilus: My Dear Brother,
Do you know who the "god-killer" is? Please reassure me that it isn't you.
In Brotherhood,
WolfHawk
And I got a response today!!!
Quote:
Theophilus says: god-killer? didn't you know he's just a figment of the media's imagination...
coincidentally - why would you think it would be me? I am a man of God, who seeks his will vigilantly, but is that enough to try and convict me of serial murder?

Cool! Theo is alive! (cues cheesy horror movie music). I had wondered.
Seger is also around too--the number pi shows up on the ad for today. So hopefully the plot will pick up.
Well, gotta run--class. Anyone want to take American Lit for me?

What theo said about sawyer. I asked Theo about Bishop's buddy/boss(my guess anyway) Sawyer.
and this was the reply.
Quote:
Theophilus says: I have looked up Detective Sawyer. I followed him in the dark rain though I do not believe he saw me. I now believe he is a dangerous man and not to be trusted. If you wish to speak to me however, then you have my ears.

Is there any reason that Theo seems to be heavily into the "don't trust anyone who isn't Brotherhood" bit?
Sawyer is the protagonist of the game, so... how can he be "untrustworthy?" Especially after his "new to the city" bit. Just something I'm wondering, is all.
I personally haven't gotten anything from any PM, so... meh, more time to do stuff off the comp, I suppose. I'll try to remain optimistic and help with stuff as much as I'm able via UF

Recent Theo Interation interface contact i received this message from Brother Theo about 48 hours ago.
Theophilus says: I have read your messages and am encouraged by them.
The world ended in 2012 because of "too many flag waving men" - the proof exists in your time, seek it out and your first step to helping the brotherhood will be taken. Consult the early transmissions and blogs.
This was in response to a couple of my messages inquiring about "the brotherhood."
I'm not too sure what i should be looking for. I have scanned through the early news feeds and whatnot. I'm drawing a blank. Anybody else have an idea?

is Theo asking you to search Deus City news or news of the last 30 years? if he's asking you to search the news of the past, throw a few keywords my way and I'll see what comes up.

He's directing you to the initial blogs that were posted at the beginning of the game; before the interface was up. Check these topics for Adams blog, Foos blog, Phils blog, etc. Also read the first transmissions that came through the interface once it was up and running.

Two messages from Theo Different topics, same I received a msg many have gotten about sawyer:
Sawyer is not to be trusted.
I have been watching him closely, and I feel that he may be a problem.
I replied asking him to give me some more specifics, but i may have to wait for that.
The second message is about trying to stop the 2042 destruction. Theo seems determined on it happening:
The "end" of the world - YOUR world came and went.
My world is a new and different and scarred place, but it too is doomed. Just as Chavingy predicted. Just as it had to be to prepare the way for 2042. The warnings are everywhere. It can't be stopped.
any suggestions on this one? Cause i have got nothing.

lostfaith: The Brotherhood believes in pre-destinty. It is propheized by Norsatdums that all this happened, and you can't really change destiny. That's why he's not worried about preventing the disaster, because you can't. You can only take advantage of it.

I was asking Theo why the Underground wanted bowling alley terms, in the Pinhead thing. This is what he said to me:
Quote:
The underground is more than the brotherhood,
The brotherhood is more than me,
I am more than the sum of my parts.
Transaltion: "Don't ask me, I don't run the Underground. I only work here."

From Theo:
Quote:
Your plans are known to us.
Go forward and be careful.
I think you know why.
So he knows whatever it is that Future Hook has planned for the thirtieth of October, is my suspicion.

Which is more than we know about them, lol. Maybe you should ask him about demonstrations and other things you've done in the "past" to give you an idea of what "you" will do.
Oh, and I just thought of something. Those of you in the know IG can use my logic, since IG I don't know about the "Theo not trusting Sawyer" bit. But Sawyer is legally in the system--Bishop is a handler after all. So it actually makes sense for Theo not to trust Sawyer, who doesn't really "like" the system but is not rebelling against it and does freelance work for them.
But Theo doesn't really trust anyone, lol, so Sawyer is part of a big group. It's okay; people that Theo doesn't trust get really yummy cupcakes

Hm... well, maybe Theo gives you guys some really awesome cookies. Or pie--pie is awesome, especially cherry (for me anyway). Or cobbler, since it's not mentioned much and it's different (and Theo is oh-so-different from everyone else in the game, lol)

I have received another communique from Theo. Unfortunately I don't know when it arrived other than within the last week.
Quote:
Theophilus says: I have come from my place of hiding and meditation.
Are you aware of the events about to take place?
To which I replied:
Quote:
To Theophilus: Sadly my Brother, I am not. There has been little activity recently. I have seen nothing of note. Perhaps it is a failing within myself. Please forgive me if this is so.
Would please be so kind as to enlighten me? I eagerly await your return and the chance to walk with you again..
Yours in Brotherhood,
WolfHawk
Does anyone else know what he may be referring to?
