[360] Halo 3 Beta Test

 		One fun thing to do-go out and get good weapons from the volks or shai gen early on, and then come back to the Los Muertos.

They can't handle a rocket launcher XD

 		I've ordered my $60 dollar beta invite as well, waiting for it to arrive. in the mean time the Demo is fun to play.
the game itself reminds me a little of GTA infused with matrix code. leaps of such magnitude I have ony seen in MxO before.
Anyway seeya around for Crackdown and Beta!

 		I was actually one of the few buying Crackdown for the merits of Crackdown alone, but nonetheless I got the beta as a free bonus anyways.

If anyone really wants a self-esteem boost, I am an extremely easy kill in Halo (still haven't mastered the whole XBOX-controlled FPS yet), and you can go ahead and add me, I'm "FriedOstrich", without the quotes, of course.

Noone in the game can handle the rocket launcher, especially the rapid fire one Very Happy.

Anyhow, I also purchased crackdown, so I'll be all up ons the Halo 3 beta "when it's ready".

 		I believe Epic worked out a "you get to play Gears early, we get on the H3 beta test" thing. So I'll probably be there!

 		I'll definitely be playing... but unfortunately I'm in Portland from the 16th to the 23rd.

So unless I buy a 360 while I'm there (which I'm almost considering, because I do want a second one), I'll be missing out on one-third of the beta. There are no words to express my Confused

If it makes you feel better, I'll be overseas from the 10th to the 26th. I'll miss out on half of the beta entirely!

I've told friends and my brother that while I'm gone they can play the beta on my account, so if I appear to be online in that interim period, that's why Razz

Wow, lot of familiar names in here... Been a while, guys. For the past year or so my xbox has been in the hands of my younger brothers... but I just picked up a 360 a few days ago as well as a copy of Crackdown.

My new XBL gamertag is "fauxhammer2". Any of you who might still have the old fauxhammer gamertag on your friends list can feel free to ditch it, since it isn't me.

Any good ARGs running right now? I've kinda developed a craving for that old I Love Bees excitement.

 		It's like playing Halo 2 all over again. Everyone's already higher rank than I am. Sure does make matchmaking interesting...

Krystyn, I think if you knock Weephun out, you can steal borrow his 360 until he regains consciousness for a little while.

 		There *is* a 360 at work I could use, not sure if it's networked, though ... might be a PITA to do account recovery and such as well. Also, it's in an open area, and they'd be all, "Hey, NEW GIRL, (future Epic title) NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YA???"

and then they'd noogie me and I'd laugh and mutter, "ow," and then we'd all eat boiled peanuts and drink sweet tea and have a good laugh.
