 		[INTERACTION]The New Batch of Characters
Are they IG? OOG? Who are they? Put your interactions here.
I'm starting up a new thread for this because it seems to have become a largeish part of the game...Bishop is a confirmed new character, although I don't believe we have contact information on him yet.

The "maybes" are Slewth and Eldoradowatcher. I'll include more information on that further down.

People who are definitely OOG and members of the forum: morelaak and Jose [arkaham]. I say that here because, at least at this point of the game, it might be easy for someone who hasn't been following that to pick up on the fact.

About Slewth: he recently turned "Grey" along with Bishop. If you check the "Sportscomplex" forum page, about a week ago he made a post begging for credits (something we don't know how to give yet) for a fun time in the Whisper Club (intimating he is from the future). Today, he got a substantial prestige infusion and changed from (I believe) Red to Grey.

About eldoradowatcher: Along with Theophilus, he's the only profile with a black square. "Ethan Sedgewick" responds to emails using foo's standard underscore signature style, and appears relatively cryptic in replies. When I wrote him, I got the following response.

I have not been in contact with Brackin or Phil yet. In time, I am

With regards to Jose: I had noticed that he seemed to be a
particularly powerful force in the Red group, and I am certainly
interested in learning more about what he intends to do with his
influence as things progress along. There is no way to know if Jose
will be a helpful or hindering force for my cause, but one of my
primary goals is to identify possible movers and shakers in Deus City
early on.

What dragged me into this mess? A question I often ask myself. I
guess the answer is a combination of destiny and logic. We all play a
part in the great machine of life and this is my role. I am really
just one little cog in the great big machine. The cog doesn't choose
to turn, it just does.

Now, for some OOG information. "Ethan" forgot to respond using the email address I mailed it to, so I found out the person's real identity and their website. As of November 11, this individual claimed to be PMing a small ARG in some forums.

ok, this is what i've gathered from chris...

Although things have changed as of this post, chris used to be the only user that Foo didn't trust. I found this strange, as there are plenty of users who Foo could distrust (the obvious one is Theophilus himself, and yet he was nowhere to be seen.)

here's the two emails i sent him, and their respective responses.

My first was an attempt to find out if there was a reason behind Foo's odd distrust.

Foo has not even marked Theophilus himself as untrusted. There must be a reason he has marked you. Why is this?

Trust is a special thing in a system such as this. I may decide to trust you, depending on your reply.

I was until recently working for Fundi Technologies, the people who created the interface. Defense Corp was running everything with an iron fist, Foo himself was literally looking over our shoulders. We were forced to work well into the night (I was up until 5am the night before the interface went live) to get everything ready to go. I did it gladly because I felt that Foo is ushering in a future that will be more equitable for everyone.

Also watch out for a guy named 'cfreak' .. he's posing as me. He's not to be trusted.

I emailed him back to see if he was looking for shelter from Foo's agents, and to see if he had a completed backdoor he could use as a trade for safety in the Brotherhood...

Whether or not you trust Theo, The brotherhood may still be able to offer you shelter. Unfortunately, i do not know if they trust you. To ensure that they will help to keep you out of Foo's clutches, they will need something in return.

You mentioned backdoors. I know your position at DefenseCorp has been terminated, and your access codes are probably flagged. I assume this means you cant access your backdoors anymore. However, they have never even heard of me, or many of the others in the Brotherhood. If there are any backdoors you had finished before your termination, The brotherhood would benefit greatly.

I can tell you right now, Theo's vision will give us our personal lives back. And I know that I for one would rather have conflict and privacy over peace and constant surveillance.

even if you're not yet a member of the Brotherhood, anyone who goes against Foo's oppression is a brother of mine.

I checked my Karma, as he said. It had changed to blue. Chris has a backdoor, and is obviously IG.

his discussion of the possibility of an alliance flip makes me wonder whether or not Chris will become a catalyst later in the game.

(well duh, of course he will, he's IG Razz )

 		LOL Yall thought Jose was Ingame?? Hes Arkaham. lol He was one of the original gatekeepers. This Bishop guy pisses me off. From his video you can tell hes a crap agent. but hes not the #2 agent anymore...lol I never saw slewth till his color change. That chris guy sounds like Phil to me. The
eldoradowatcher guy sounds more like Foo... He said he started out as a red to me in an e-mail... he told me he doesn't know why he became black.

 		No one (as far as I know) thought Arkaham was IG. I just put that out there as a preemptive strike, especially if people are new to the game. I figured I'd better explain away any major anomalies here.

I'll throw out another potential name....AlexisWright. There's no way to contact the account last time I checked, but it's there.

 		Better safe than sorry, and somehow on all the games I play someone ends thinking I'm IG.

Pushing things back to topic, I'm happy to see these new characters. I was afraid the game would become a puzzle trail.

 		So now we have, what, 4 factions? Foo, Theo/Brackin, chris and now Ethan seems to be his own thing.

Personally, for the sake of simplicity, I hope that chris and Ethan are together in some way. If there are too many sides fighting against each other eventually, it might start to get too complicated.

EDITED FOR UPDATE - I received the following email from chris (not cfreak) about the relation between the two.

It wouldn't surprise me if he tries to hack my gmail account. I don't know, maybe I'm just paranoid. I know that I don't trust Foo, and I know that he does. As for who I do trust .. that remains to be seen.

So my mind is officially blown here. There were two Chris's working at the company--one the boss, one a codemonkey. Knowing that Chris's email was cfreak@gmail, boss Chris registers the forum name "cfreak".

To clarify:
cfreak's ingame email is chrisSPLATfunditechnologies.com
chris's ingame email is cfreakSPLATgmail.com
And some massive drama is going on here.

OK, got something back from Cfreak (Chris Brown, Fundi head)

It would make sense that he has a low ID in the system, he was in the
very early stages of development. I took kind of a hands off approach
until it was done. Now that he's gone, I'm doing a lot of the

you can find out anything about this Chris, what he's up to ... that
would be a big help.

Honestly, I'm not sure how to respond to this. I don't really want to tell Cfreak about the system hacking, because I don't consider myself that much of a Foo follower. I do find it slightly suspicious that this Chris mentions a spoofed email no one actually received. I think this has pushed me towards our hacker friend.

Big day for interaction, I guess. To clarify, both people (cfreak and chris) claim to be named Chris Brown.
