Just got done talking with him, not that i got much progress. however, he does now know a chunk of the backstory leading up to this whole thing.

Well, that explains how Will knew to ask me about time communication.

As for Will being Slewth . . . I'm not sure . . . Will says that Slewth screwed him over, right? Implying they're separate individuals . . . unless Slewth's taken on a relevant name to get Will's attention??

Also, future-slewth told me that when he knew Forth, he was old enough to be his father. That makes me think they're different people.

Plus, Forth knew slewth in his past.

Well, we're going to have to consider another tact. According to today's latest news article (Rebel Sympathizer Routed) slewth has been caught by the Temporal Police.

Well, Slewth wasn't particularly a supporter of the authorities . . can't help but feel like he'd want to keep it from them. He told notgordian never to mention that name again.

Didn't slewth have a time limit on how long we had to find him?

besides, there's talk that the man that Detective Kropp captured was slewth... even the things they said he was doing leads to slewth. they even said he had green supporters...

so what if slewth knew that he was going to be captured and that's the reasoning for the time limit? maybe he needed to get to william before he got locked up and potentially brainwashed by "reeducation"?

I think forth arriving and slewth being captured were sychronised, otherwise that would end up as a dialogue between 2 characters with no lpayers involved, not very useful. So really we have to get to the root of why Slewth wanted Will and then carry that on if its the best course.

also form when i was talking to hi late last night he said he didnt want to join now, but then instantly joined in the morning pretty much. it seems to me like we had got him to come over, but someone had to write the new article, I'd guess the time limit was just to make us see it as an urgent puzzle which needed solving instead of something we can drift with for a while. So, how do we use him?

I reckon press him about the history between him and Slewth. Maybe if we can figure out what their relationship was we can work from there and figure out why Slewth wanted him in?

well that sounds like a good idea guys.

since you two are the associated "ambassadors" for Forth, you guys should be the ones to contact him and press. That way we don't risk having him run to defenses and risk him getting quiet with overloading him with people interrogating him?
