Solved?

I'm over here in the States, so maybe the answer is obvious to those of you in the UK. But I think there is at least a reference to

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Queen Square?
There is a statue of William III riding a horse.

underline is mine.

There is an extra space before and after the word 'had' (it doesn't really show up but it is there!). I reckon there will be some kind of tea room there with 'had' in the name or something.

Time

I imagine the 1300 is referring to 1:00 as the time to meet.

Where: Queens Square
When: 1pm, 18th Febuary 2007

As far as I know, there is no tea room at Queens Square. The square is surrounded by three storied terraced houses usually owned by lawyers and such.

Whoever is coming we can arrange a place to meet and I'll lead us there.

There is a Dining room and bar at Queens Square, http://www.queen-square.com/ so we can have a pint there until it's 1pm I guess. Very Happy

It looks like there might be a t-shaped bit right next to the main bit--dunno if that means anything.

I probably won't be able to make it. I'm in Essex, and, therefore, far too posh for Bristol anyway. Wink

Is there fairly secure and / or cheap parking in the vicinity?

Also, meeting by the statue of King Bill sounds as good a spot as any.

EDIT: Or in that posh looking restaurant. They better not have a dress code.

Here are all the details you need to meet us on 18/02/07 :

1300 unlucky for some as was 1831 for those in Victoria's geometric garden where King Bill still rides every day. Shall we riot? I'd rather we had a cup of tea which was once shipped as cargo to these docks. Cool Huh Wink

See you all there!!

Pat and Dave

Pat and Dave say that they rather have a cup of Tea which once shipped cargo TO these docks.
The original docks were Boston
There is a Tea room called The Boston Tea Party

I believe you're incorrect,

I think you're only assuming this from one word: "tea", where the majority of the clue indicates Queen Square:

"Victoria's geometric garden", "King Bill still rides every day" and, "Shall we riot?".

Also, the Boston Tea Party is "on the junction of Charlotte Street and Park Street, one shop from the corner, near the top of Park Street" which is a little far from the docks when Queen Square is right next to it.

An event in Bristol!

Hurrah!

I'll go tomorrow to see if I can see anything that relates to the Cool Huh Wink as that seems a bit out of place. Everything else seems to relate to finding the Square.

I'll be there definitely.

See you then

The first line states at 1300 unlucky for some as it was in 1831.
Taking it as it was unlucky to be at queens square and not at one would you not take the line "I rather we had a cup of tea" etc as the place to be.

Or split in two groups and keep in conact by mobile.
