I know this is a little late (been to a wedding and just catching up what's gone on over the weekend) but I'll offer to be on-call researcher. If someone wants to PM me, we'll set it up.
Bit last minute - but the offer's there.

Same. I should be around the puter today.
PM me if I can help.
I'll keep an eye on the forums anyway.
Current UK time is about 1230 so hoping our away team is in the process of converging now.
Keep your eyes peeled and have a blast.

covered in grass! We had a blast & met Pat, Dave, Frankie & Eva with Voiphe (very briefly!)
Jediwannabe & Thunderwolf have made super vids of the event & will be posting shortly no doubt. I did take my camera but the battery ran out - very bad planning by me
We're not sure just how much we learnt apart from a new section on the subject 180287 site - www.subject180287.net/uplink.html
We can all upload pictures, the address is uplinkSPLAT subject180287.net
So, now I think we may have to wait & see what happens next

The photo of the cafe is Millenium square taken from Pero's bridge? Just a guess.

Oh... my... God....
Well I could either spam the smiley face two thousand times and make your scroll wheel cry or I can monologue (I'll go for the latter =) )
What a day, Five superbly cast actors providing us with a chance to really actualise the characters we have grown to love over the past weeks. Pat and Dave, well what can you say, never have I run through the streets in commando fashion and not cared who laughs or takes pictures, we really kept the people of Bristol guessing as to what was going on. The bag lady!!!! Frankie Francis, although a little stilted was probably in character for a dedicated and clipped scientist. And finally Eva, the sight of her clutching Voiphe as she entered the restaurant to await Keir (who we now no had no chance of making it) really pulled at the heartstrings.
But where did it all begin?
Well on a cold and blustery day in Bristol 8 disparate Argers gathered to await the arrival of Pat and Dave at the statue. Little did we know what was in wait for us...Whilst getting to know each other we spotted a mad old bag lady approaching after having searched through various bins. As soon as it was clear she was headed straight for us the group dispersed and suddenly began showing a marked interest in the floor. In a voice that had clearly seen a hard life she asked if anyone had a spare cigarette with none forthcoming she headed off and we thought no more of it. But then she came back. She asked if we were aware of psivolution and at that point most of us found it hard to keep a straight face. She reached into her assortment of bin bags and pulled out a psivolution name badge for each of us (My name was Wendy Flapp!). She then led us down back streets to meet with Pat and dave. Throughout her entire journey she babbled to herself about the amount of dog s%^t on the street and the evil pidgeons.
We spotted Pat and Dave on the bridge crouched down and hiding beckoning us to follow suit. They were convinced that kenkon/The M.O.D/and everyone else was watching our every move and so we then spent the next 15 minutes running around hiding behind pillars and generally looking like idiots whilst they led us to our next stop. They even had a codeword, if anything looked suspicious they would shout grass and we all had to blend in. This came to its comical climax when they shouted it in the middle of a square with nothing to hide behind, having been swept up in the theatrics it led most of us to drop to the floor and curl up in a ball (because noone would see us then!!). Pat tried to explain his tryptych theory and dave was convinced that if we all dipped our hands in the fountain we could then channel the emotional energy of the group in a giant big hug. The best part of all this was the fact that random members of the public seemed to want to join in (never a shortage of nutters in any town!).
They led us to the watershed where they told us a special treat had been arranged, a Symposium on Psivolution hosted by none other than Frankie "Alanis" Francis. We were led into a darkened room in which a presentation had been setup with various pc's around the room all displaying the subject180287 website. Frankie presented a number of slides leading to a puzzle for us to complete over a meal and drinks paid for by the Watershed sponsor(whilst Pat and dave tried to chat her up). Once we solved the puzzle (uplink) we returned to frankie who explained she had found this section of the website but was unsure to its meaning other than that you can send mms pictures from your mobile to uplinkSPLAT subject180287.net and that they appear here. frankie was then pulled out of the meeting by a phonecall but promised to return. Dave then got a phonecall saying that Eva would shortly be arriving. We all left very quickly to hide (10 of us) "inconspicuously" behind one pot plant.
This was a moment that made me realise how much I loved the game. Suddenly the music that was being played changed to the geist theme tune and Eva entered clutching Voiphe and sat down at a table nervously looking for Keir. Pat and Dave in their usual not over the top way walked straight up to her and asked if we could all get a photo with her. Eva looked suitably bemused and couldnt quite work out what on earth was going on. We tried to make small talk whilst Dave tried to chat up Eva at which point a birthday cake was brought to the table. As a bemused Eva, and an even more bemused group of Argers looked on a tannoy message was broadcast...The message that Keir had told Eva he would use if something was wrong. She made her excuses and ran out of the restaurant. Pat and Dave then led us back to the beginning of our whole journey (obviously all whilst running in commando style) and asked us to lean against the statue with our eyes closed and count to 36 so that we could try and feel the energy contained within it. Obciously as you can imagine they took this opportunity to leg it in to the distance never to be seen again.
And so ended our jolly jaunt!
With that all I can say is keep up the great work it seems a shame that we are now well into the game life and fast approaching its conclusion. All good things must come to an end and with the quality of this meet it should be a very good finale. Big shoutouts to Hazel, her production team, the venue (for putting up with Pat and daves exploits), and to all the great actors.
Wow, that was nothing short of an essay (and i left out all the great lines....whats that on my shoe pat?)
And just to add, when you feel so upset for poor old eva when you know its just an actress, thats when an arg really has you!
