Meigeist in the news! Media Frenzy [For those living in Bristol] Has anyone seen Venue Magazine this week? There's an article by some guy called Joe Spurgeon about you all and the game's creator (Hazel) discussing Meigeist. There's even a hint about the live event scheduled for Feb 18. It's in all the shops now (around Bath and Bristol anyway) - see www.venue.co.uk if you don't know the magazine. It looks really good. Does anyone read it?[/b]

Indeed, a scan would be awesome!

erm, I don't have a scanner but I've managed to get hold of a .pdf. I can't seem to attach it though. Can you offer any help?

Joe Spurgeon (Jake Slazenger) it's great that you have written an article about Meigeist for Venue magazine! (How else would you have the .PDF? As it is not available anywhere online.) But please just say so instead of putting up an unnecessary guise. Thanks.

Awww...don't be too harsh. You can only get so upset about someone pretending to be someone else in an ARG.
At any rate, I'm not sure about the upload, as when I checked it said that .pdfs are allowed, but only up to 0 bytes.
...but you can always post it somewhere else and link.

he he - very astute. I'm sorry. I just wanted to spread the word. The game's caused quite a stir and we've all been really impressed with the camaraderie and depth the game has gone to. Was keen people knew that. Apologies for the subterfuge, guess I got carried away with all the mysterious goings-on! Once again, apologies if I've upset anyone, really not my intention - keep up the good work and I shall go back to watching and admiring from afar.
Best,
Joe/Jake

You haven't upset anyone, and we'd still really like to see the review if possible?
Why don't you join us? There's a live event happening soon and we always need a fresh set of eyes for any puzzle.

FYI, Jake, the ability to upload attachments is one of the benefits of registering an account.

I'm certainly not upset, but would like to see the article. Can you post a link to it maybe?
Are you doing a follow up after the live event too?

Wow! That was a very meta plot twist!
I honestly would buy a copy of the mag if I lived in the UK. Really. I keep wishing I lived in the UK more and more with this ARG (the live event, mainly)...
