B&H Silver signs I've no idea if I'm posting this is the wrong section but me and my friend have noticed that in the top of the carton in a packet of B&H Silver there are weird symbols. the only picture I have is one of a sun, but we have come across hands and a "B". maybe I'm just wrong.

I seriously doubt this could be the start of an ARG, but I've definitely been wrong before. It's probably just a little thing the company threw in for the frequent B&H smokers to notice.

Ive Had them too! Ive had the well known hyrogliphic eye symbol, a star, a wheel and currently i'm smoking a ladder. The weird thing is.. they all seem to be hand drawn, then printed or stamped. maybe its some 8yr old kid that makes them 20hrs a day, just having some fun!

Well it sounds intriguing. Get some photos up here. I can actually read basic hieroglyphs, for what it's worth.

B&H Silver Symbols Itoo was intrigued by the symbols and messages and emailed Gallaghers this morning, here is the prompt reply I got back:
Quote:
Dear Nathan
Thank you for your email from which I was delighted to hear that you
enjoy B&H Silver.
With regard to the inside printing, Benson & Hedges has always set the
benchmark for quality and style. From historical award winning
advertising to ground-breaking 'Silver Slide' packaging design, the
brand has led the way on innovation for many years.
Today, a new form of print innovation, on the inside of Benson & Hedges
Silver 20s packs, has been designed around thought-provoking bigger
questions. I'm afraid I do not have the answers to the questions.
Again, thank you for contacting Gallaher, your feedback is much
appreciated.
Yours sincerely
Mrs G ******
Consumer Services, Gallaher Ltd
Hope this helps

I got myself a symbol too.
Lower case "s" in a gothic type font, and a picture of a man reading a book with the letter "N" on the front in the same font. Accompanied by the words "Will Nostradamus be right?"
Piccy's to follow when I've smoked the last 7 fags.
Any ideas anyone? Googling for Nostradamus and Time tourist leads to this site, but really not sure if it's anything to do with it?
Can't see the video anyway, bloody work PC's won't let me install QT.

Looking on whois.net, the contact email for Admin and Technical is a hampshire.edu email. So, I'm going to assume that, that website is just a project for college.

Cheers Olly.
I sent an email as well, just to see what would happen and got an almost identical reply to NathL only from a different person:

IIRC Nostradamus predicted the end of the world. It's scary stuff, but seems quite unrelated to the other lines in those packets.
You've got to remember that now pretty much all tobacco advertisement is banned in the UK. That, and the smoking ban coming up in July, means that they're going to have to find new ways to keep us hooked.
This may not be an ARG, but it's still pretty damn interesting. However, I'm a dirty cheap Sovereign smoker and despite it being Gallaher Ltd there's nothing new in mine.

Yay, viral advertisments for death sticks. Only way they're going to get any new sane customers now I guess.

I've noticed this too.... Although, if you look inside the box (when you've finished them obviously) by ripping the silver foil out, there's pictures etc in there too!?
I've had about 3 boxes like it now... First one said... "Why and i here?" with a picture of a little dude sat leaning on a wall!?
