 		Wow I take a short break to work on things in the real world and this sort of ARG pops up. Nine Inch Nails and an ARG.. god damn thats awesome! Looks like I am going to be playing this Very Happy

 		if anyone is still questioning whether 42 is doing this whole thing elan and steve confirmed in the vanishingpoint chat after the skypecast that they are working on a "big project". They also kept talking about how they all "rock" including a moment where steve said "elan rocks" and then said he had planted a hint before leaving.

as far as i'm aware, current thinking is that opalescenthaze.com is a gamejack - i.e a site that is not part of the game, but one that was setup by some not-so-well-meaning person to annoy / hinder players...

Hey, I decided to look at the message headers for the autoreply email that gets sent out when you email to the water@ address..

It looks like the email comes from blahblahSPLATblah.mlsrvr.com

I dunno if I'm on the right track here, but when you go to http://mlsrvr.com you get a login page which appears to have been written in open source (LOTS of comments), but doesn't have any signup.

Presuming the email address is the water@ one, we need to work out the password?

This is all presuming I'm not looking too deep, of course

Oh, and it looks like the author of Opalescent Haze has admitted it was fake on the website. He claims it was a "social experiment". Surrrrrrrre.

That is changing. Anyone that remembers the changes that were taking place at nin.com as the release of With Teeth was approaching (originally called Bleedthrough) should be familiar with the idea. Over a period of time, an image becomes visible. Before it was just a very slow progression from a black screen to a white screen.

 		I found a new possible lead. I've been following this for a while and realized something. Another Version of the Truth is also a new song, correct? So I tried the song below it as a hyperlink: inthistwilight.com. On in it a simple picture, but if you highlight the absent text below you you get a contact email: contactSPLATinthistwilight.com. Also, if you look at the page source you see " no secrets here" and "sorry to disappoint". I sent an email but received no response yet, I'll keep updating.
