If you are interested in factual esoteric military shenanigans I strongly recommend Jon Ronson's "The Men Who Stare at Goats"
Very funny, even has some mention of Fort Bragg and Camp Hero and the ahem *projects* that were carried out there in the seventies, remote viewing etc
