Puzzle Scores Can anyone explain to me where I can find information regarding the points I get for completing say a Red Sudoku, Yellow Sudoku or Blue Sudoku?

None, you only get points for the daily puzzle, and thats 25 points.

I don't think Sudoku/ Japanese Puzzles are even a part of the 'puzzles solved number' kind of disappointing...

I think thats a bug, I don't see why they wouldn't be, they are generally harder than a lot of the word puzzles. Give it time I'm sure they'll sort it out.

I hope so, I enjoy doing those puzzles, and it would be cool to have a count of how many I completed.

I have found, using FF2, that the puzzle count doesn't automatically update, but will update if you refresh the page.

It looks like it doens't update for either browser. Since the "Check Answer" function (as well as a few others) uses an independant javascript HTTP request, the browser doesn't refresh everything. It's a trade-off, how much to update. Update everything, and it's more accurate; update only that which has changed, and it's faster.
It sure would be nice if it updated your solve counts though...

So what happens if you have already solved the daily puzzle before it becomes the daily puzzle.
I spent alot of time solving when the site got launched and so far i have only accumulated 50 points as i can only solve the puzzle once.
There should be a way of backloging what you have already done

Give Mind Candy an e-mail. That's what I did when the same thing happened to me a few days ago, and the points were put onto my account within a few hours

On the same note, can you not get points for the puzzle after the day it was the daily puzzle? It seems a shame because I missed one day, my rank has jumped down from 1st to 156th!

Re-solve it. I had already solved today's one, just enter the answers in, it'll give the points, but not increment the solve count again - as expected.

Might have to give it a go tomorrow. It does make sense that it would work like that.

Puzzle Scores I was under the impression that you only get the 25 points for solves on a daily puzzle if you solve it the first time. For example, I messed up on one of the daily puzzles last week and I did not get the 25 points, even though I entered it correctly the second time.
The reason I ask is that I "solved" today's puzzle (Hitori 1494). The first time I entered the solution, it came up "Incorrect". I resubmitted the entry and it worked the second time. Not only that, but I got my 25 points on the second attempt.
Am I missing something?

Still quite a few bugs in the system me thinks. I am actually quite surprised that mind candy went live when they clearly have so many problems.
