I'm actually a little bit worried by the separation between the puzzle website and the ARG website. What really drew me to Perplex City was the combination of the two into a whole that was much more than those two aspects as separate entities. Hopefully the puzzle cards aren't going to be separate from the ARG aspect, and this is simply an effort by MC to offer the website to the puzzling masses, as opposed to limiting their base to the ARG players. I'm pretty sure (and hopeful) that this is the case, but I still wanted to get that off my chest.

With all of these extra puzzles on the site, I think I may soon become ingrossed in seeing how high I can get my "Puzzles Solved" number.

I'm just loving this brief time I can spend with a number 1 next to my Rank. It makes me feel so kewl...
And, MC, I love the new look and the new fun! It's the perfect way for me to be unproductive!

Eep... I love ponturu, but if you make a mistake you have to restart the whole thing. Bummer.
They should have a "printable version" button for the puzzles. I prefer working with pencil...
I am looking forward to when all the kinks have been ironed out so I can hitori my way up the leaderboard.

Have emailed them about the T Lengths puzzle in the Eye Candy section - it marks your answer incorrect no matter which option you pick. (I spent ages trying to judge which the right answer was so I was a bit peeved but what can you do?)
LOVING the new site. I guess I can wave goodbye to my degree....

Has anyone found the forums on the new site? If so can you direct me to them.
I know the old ones are still at http://pxcforums.com/ but suspect I should be able to get to them direct from the new site.

The website is down for me Both addresses no longer work www.perplexcity.com is not working for me. I went on www.welovepuzzles.com and starting putting in some solves and then I got the "Perplex City Temporarily Offline" message. Has anyone else had these same type of problems?

Yep. Having that 1 there really makes me feel proud. Until the puzzles really start and I drop to whatever number I drop to.
BTW, does anyone know if Unfiction is going to set up a PXC Season 2 forum? Seems like this is going to get too crowded with Season 2 stuff before too long.

whoah.
that puts a new spin to the top leaderbord place aspirants.
it means to 'stay ahead', everyone who wants to be on top will have to log in every day to do a puzzle.
bah! I was obsessed anyway to check for updates daily. Doesn't bother me.

Don't worry yourself. I found this message and checked some of the errors on the site I e-mailed them about after the site was back online and they have been fixed. I believe they are just making minor adjustments.

I had noticed that the Daily Puzzles give points, and the other ones don't -- but do we know whether that's the long-term plan? For instance, will we be able to get points for solving all the puzzles in the puzzle list? I kind of like the Daily Puzzle being the only regular free-bee points, but I'm not 100% clear on what they're planning!
I am, however, 100% clear on how much FUN this is!

I had to log back in to get my stats.
Hi, first time I signed in it logged me in as astro_random... I wish. And could you forward the £100,000 straight into my bank account, please????
Actually I think it logs you in correctly but displays other users info/id's.
It does seem a bit up and down, but hey, its back.
Roll on season 2.
The forums are still only accessible through any saved bookmarks, or through perplexcitystories.com and then click 'story so far'at the bottom of the page, which takes you to an older web page, where you can access the forums in the usual manner. I guess these will go through a transformation aswell.
Still, pleased its up (and down) again.

P.S. I loved being (joint) number 1 on the leader board. It'll never happen again.
