 		I have a late-night thought related to this. When Combed Thunderclap was transported to New York, there were cars and all sorts laid on for her.

Who organised those?

Very Happy There are limited options. Kurt, maybe? Sente? No-one else knew.

Violet didn't go to new york, dearheart. She quite likely went to London.
The cube is a sentient device which has the ability to make things happen. And since Earth technology is so primitive, it was easy to manipulate things to make everything come together just as the cube ordered it.

Also, the Library of Babel flash animations had her on a plane. Someone paid for that ticket. They aren't cheap. Unless you go with EasyJet, and then you get less personal space than the slaves had on the great Slave Triangle decades ago. And I don't see Sente, for example, using anything less than Virgin, British Airways, whatever. Somehow, Sente on the phone to BMI Baby doesn't really fit...

Didn't people think that somehow the Cube did that? How could it have been Kurt if there was no link to Earth at that time? How would he know where Violet was?

 		Yeah, I was under the impression that the Cube made all the arrangements for her, since (if I'm remembering correctly) Kurt was the only one who knew she had taken the Cube, and was unable to contact her on Earth due to things like her key not functioning.
