OK
Your numbers confirm the 3 rares (Silvers per box) 15 uncommons per box, or on average 1 uncommon or rare per two packs.
That is an extraordinarily gouging distribution - which while not quite as extraordinary as the Wave 4 pure one (where 1 silver from two boxes was my score) - is still just wrong.
I guess they haven't really learned any lessons from that.
I will try and cancel my Firebox pre-order at this point on the grounds of it being good money thrown after bad. I don't expect I'll be successful though.

Well, I went ahead and opened and my distribution for 2 boxes was a bit better, but about the same:
Box 1
Red - 44
Orange - 45
Yellow - 37
Green - 24
Blue - 24
Purple - 24
Black - 14
Silver - 4
Box 2
Red - 43
Orange - 44
Yellow - 39
Green - 24
Blue - 24
Purple - 24
Black - 14
Silver - 4

Something else I noticed (which you can see in my distro spreadsheet)
A lot of times, the black cards and/or silver cards were in side by side packs.
The order on my list was each pack in the box, top to bottom; left to right. So you see how the pattern was coming out. I actually found myself saying "Well, this should be another black card pack" and was mostly right.
Very interesting.

8 boxes had - 15 black / 3 silver
2 boxes had - 14 black / 3 silver
1 boxes had - 16 black / 3 silver
1 boxes had - 13 black / 4 silver

So I should be expecting 4 silvers with one ripped down the middle?

Only if you're too eager when opening the packets

If it's any help, I ordered 20 packs and got 7 black / 3 silver, which would work out at 12.6 black and 5.4 silver per 36 packs (a box). The site won't accept solves yet though

Interesting For a moment there I thought you had a few thousand oranges...
Heres how I see it
1 booster box
36 packs
216 cards
36 warm up cards
Minimum of 132 trades (presuming you get all 84 cards not including warm ups)
A hell of a lot of points
I had to slap myself silly becuase I was going to get them all on eBay and have no tades and whatnot...Close call.
