I tried some ip scanning as well as some brute force on child 12's account, but I know absolutely nothing except for what came up on Google. I got a few letters in the brute force that I don't know whether or not was actually useful. Ended up getting banned for an hour as well =p Even tried to look for possible cache that Google might have saved, that didn't work either. I'm pretty much giving up to the idea of trying to get in unless someone experienced is going to hack the thing.

 		Uh, doesn't hacking into it sort of defeat the purpose?

If we're meant to get into it, we either have to figure out a way or else stay out of it.

If I was a PM running one of these and someone hacked into it, I would just shut the whole thing down.

 		This may be old hat, and may even be useless, but I've been analysing the videos by pattern, and they're all very specifically structured.

Most of the videos are 48 seconds long; all of them stay around the 50s mark. Video 1 and 2 are 48s, video 3 is 50s, video 4 is 48s, video 5 is 51s.

The first 21s are taken up by the "test pattern" card. The words start at the 21 mark. The first picture seems to show up at the 42 second mark, as does a change in music starting on video 2.

There's a "chirp" sound (I know it's fairly typical for some kinds of audio, but I don't know what it is) at the 1s mark, the 4s mark, and again at 39s. There is a "poof" sound like something gently impacting a microphone at the 9s and 36s marks.

The "vox" music, which is always the same, starts at the 11s marks. The dissonant flute melody fades in at the 22s mark.

I think we might find something of interest if we can identify the brief snatches of music used in the final seconds of each video. Some sound vaguely familiar, but I think they're a little more modern than my own tastes run, so I'm clueless.

 		Ilovetofix also mentioned that the heads in one of the videos are "saying something", so a lip reader might also be helpful.

 		Very nice job, furikku! I am thinking that there is a big *something* in the videos that we are missing.
Wish I could get the phone call on Thursday, but I wouldn't be able to do it. I would love to do it now that it involves driving to a phone booth somewhere! That would be exciting, even if a tad bit like a hostage negotiation. Smile

This is my first ARG, and I am officially freaked out. How many more forum threads are there about this game. I've read this one and another that is about 40 pages long.

I've got to calm down for a while maybe do my income taxes or update my resume.

I guarantee that my second ARG with deal with some light subject matter.
