 		I pmed harrispi asking about it, but no reply yet. In the chat Cyberus said the forums are locked down again.

Various threads have been deleted, including FARTZ, the "t'was all for boners" one, the discussion thread, the memorial section, and the guest section (but I think that may have gone earlier, if I remember right).

Edit: It's also may be worth noting that harrispi's account isn't activated, yet it has administrator status.

Edit 2: The poll where Love asked what we thought everything was (ARG, prank, psychological study, etc) is gone too.

 		One thing I'm wondering is about the supposed suicide that harrispi's post in the forums refers to. Is there any confirmation of this? Where'd harrispi get the info?

I'm with you furikku, I don't trust it either.

A few options come to mind

1. Somebody has either jacked it to turn it into a legit ARG
2. SA turned it over to somebody else to turn into a ARG
3. The "revealing of it being a hoax" was IG
4. It is what it says it is (Highly Doubtful)
5. SA is still f**king around

 		I asked if the investigation was real or a continuation of the game, if it was hijacked by SA, and in general, what was going on. I got this response:

We have spoken with the SomethingAwful members who we believe to be behind the hijacking/hacking. No charges will be pressed against them, as the administrators of the board have intentionally tried to remain anonymous and Proboards does not want this sort of publicity. We do not believe them to have been very involved with anything that happened prior to the night of the hacking.

We believe the videos to have been produced and distributed by an amateur psychology group situated somewhere in the United Kingdom. We have yet to confirm this, however.

The forums will not be reopened, the "staff" accounts have been suspended indefinitely, and I suggest you do not watch any more of the videos if they are released.

 		Another thing I noticed is that harrispi seems to be exaggerating the events surrounding the ritual.

After going through The Summoning thread, I only counted 15 people that participated.

No where near as bad as that, judging by the reports of those involved. I briefly summarized the participants' reactions:

thosedamnapes - Couldn't scare self.
ravingmad - Nothing bad.
ataru - Something like a mild panic attack, but fine.
keioseth - Felt a little sick afterwards, but otherwise fine.
sartor - Slight feel of being watched, but not that scared.
suburbanbarbarian - Came back fine.
picasso - A little difficulty scaring self, came back fine.
Wabonan - Fell asleep.
cyberus - Came back fine.
shnards - Could scare self, but the feeling quickly faded each time.
jimko - Felt a little sick afterwards, but came back fine.
dazeytweeter - Started to get a panic attack, then stopped the ritual.
crittericalmender - Difficulty getting scared due to background noises.
kaliayev - Initial difficulty getting scared but less later, came out fine.
desertilluminati - Stopped after 20 minutes with no sense of relief.

Edit: I pmed harrispi with basically a copypaste of what I said above.

 		There was one person I found unaccounted for, but they posted on here, rather than on THC. They were a guest named daniele schutt.

From what I've seen, they haven't posted again, but since they were a guest, that's entirely possible, as well as it being somehting planted IG. I'm still awaiting the next PM as well as some major sign to if this is another prank, or a continuation. ._.

True that. It's for posterity, nothing more. There was no hijack; there is no investigation - one could say that NOTHING IS HAPPENING... Laughing

The test boards were quite interesting though. I didn't think they'd be opened, and when they were I was surprised that the content was in-game (or in-prank, I suppose).
