It's been mentioned elsewhere that the Japanese puzzles get added if you use welovepuzzles.com rather than perplexcity.com - it works!

Also, regarding the Flash games not working, I used IE first which didn't work even after going to the Flash site to update to the latest one (which I already had anyway). So I downloaded FireFox and it works like a dream. Okay granted it's not really a fix but a workaround that works?

Ok, after some suggestions, it may have been that that copy of Firefox also had less stringent cookie settings... because my regular Firefox works now that I've altered how it handles cookies.

I just realised that my standard copy of Firefox doesn't have Shockwave Player installed. (Shockwave is still not Intel-Mac native)

So I tried todays daily puzzle using the copy of Firefox I run under Rosetta and it worked just fine.

At least for me, it seems that it's a Shockwave problem, not a flash problem.

Hmm. Whatever was up before seems to be fixed now, as it's letting me solve the Japanese puzzles and have them count towards my solved puzzle score.

Pretty good, too. I was afraid my Daily Puzzle points might suffer because of it.

Just curious - anyone else having issues with Cidori solves? I manage to connect all the dots without crossing any lines, and it gives me an "incorrect" despite an answer that's correct.

I'd suspect it's a browser problem but for two things:
1) I use Opera for my browsing and puzzle-solving.
2) Every other Japanese puzzle (and for that matter, every other PXC puzzle) works just fine.

Cidouri 3669 (blue)

Something is wrong with this one. I solved it, each white connected to a black. And hit submit and it told me it was incorrect. Seems like an error.

Can anyone else confirm this?

Here is my solve

How did you get to it? If you got to it by hitting "next" after solving puzzle 3668, then it might not exist. Try going to the permalink for it, and seeing if there's a puzzle there.

If you go via the permalink it says "The puzzle you have requested does not exist".

However it does seem to be a bug that you can get it by going "Next" from puzzle 3668. I tried it this way, got the same solution as x and was also marked incorrect

I thought that might be the case. I've seen that plenty of times before, and raised the issue in the bugs thread over on pxc.com forums.
