I think I've gone over this thread about 12 times...at least!

The first thing that pops out to me is that TA keeps telling us to basically compare our notes. Sooo, with that in mind, I'm starting a summary, please add or correct where you see fit. Hopefully, someone will see a connection that will get us going in the right direction.

The "Characters"

Alex Peterson. He is genetically engineered/modified. He is being sought out by "the man in Japan", possibly the Russian Mafia, and TA, or whatever organization/govt. s/he is affiliated with. He was not on the flight from LA to Singapore...he was in Miami at the time.

TransientAxiom. Only contact so far. Wants us to find out who was on flight 11. Self-proclaimed "unknown observer", claiming "no active role". However, he also said that he, or his affiliated group wants to "apprehend" Alex. His govt. wants to bring Alex and the person from the economically broken environment to "justice". He also had Kitrona confirm Alex's location (Miami) for him, so he clearly is playing an active role in all of this somehow.

"The man from Japan". An assasin given the task of killing Alex.

The person from the "economically broken environment". Mentioned by TA in AIM chat with DJPedro.

The "prodigal son". Mentioned by TA in chat with DJPedro. He was on the LA/Singapore flight. We know this is not Alex, but not much beyond that.

TA also made mention of a "rival" of Alex's...not sure who this refers to.

Although it would be impossible to list our "known unknowns" (as it would include...everything!) at this point, a few things that are bugging me..

1. Who is behind the romxnce.net website? All we know is that it's not Alex. Also, part of the comment on the romxnce site... "Can you hear me Mr. Peterson? Or shall I turn it up for you?" Does this refer to Alex being engineered for a specific trait, or some auditory clue we are supposed to find?

2. Who is the Prodigal Son? The person from the econ.b.env.? Was the reference to the Saint on 03/03/337 relevent?

3. What does 3/3/7 really mean?

4. TA went out of his way to point out that the LA/Singapore flight stopped over in Tokyo right after mentioning the "man from Japan". However, Alex was in Miami at the time, so what is, or is there a connection between the "prodigal son" and the man from Japan?

Judging by the website comments, I have a feeling it might be run by the man from Japan...the assasin after Alex. There would be no reason (that I can see, at least) that he would hop on the flight to Singapore, since that only takes him farther away from his quarry. Heading to NY makes more sense. However, if you are trying to locate and kill someone, would it be wise to let him know where you're at?

For what it's worth, I played with the time zones for the flight. All times listed on the Singapore Airlines page are local. Flight 11 landed in Singapore Monday, Feb. 26 at 12:30 pm eastern time..ie, New York time. I was going to put together a whole big thing converting the whole flight itinerary into Pacific, Eastern, London (just for you, Alyx), and Singapore time, but my brain started to liquify and leak out of my ears midway through the task, so I decided against it.

Arg! No pun intended. I should have thought of this before. Flights from Tokyo to Miami. I'll check it when I get a chance. But why would the Man in Japan use Singapore Airlines again?

Singapore Air doesn't fly to Florida. It looks like their US stops are NY (JFK & EWR), San Fransisco, LA, and Phoenix. On the 26th, the only SA flight from Tokyo to the States was Flight 12, departing Tokyo at 6:15pm, and landing in LA at 11:05 the same day...international date line, not time travel..lol!

I checked Vancouver also, nothing there. So, if Japan Man made it to the US on Monday via Singapore Air, LA was his only option.

Had a rather illuminating chat with TA, but, as always, we now have more questions than answers. That, and I can't believe he put up with over a half hour of interrogation..lol!!

I'm just going to throw this up here for now. I was basically pumping him for every bit of info I could get, I was not really thinking of what it all meant at the time. I'll try to sort it all out later.

Odd Alex Peterson is 17 and has been at this for seemingly some time. Apparently genetically altered Americans don't go to high school. In my country, being a government test subject doesn't allow truancy.

Anyway. 17...So he was created/birthed/built in 1990, the very very end of the Cold War. So Alex is, in all probability, a Cold War weapon that never had a chance to be used. Maybe this is why he went rogue, because he hadn't a purpose?

Regardless, let's research our first contact with TransientAxiom. If he knows that Alex had contact with one of us (one of us whom TA contacted), some kind of answer might lie there.

Seems like the name Alex Peterson was used in the Project Ashcroft games. Just started reading the Project Ashcroft 3 thread, after getting a few hits with a uf search
