To update on this, I've raised it in the mod forum and there's ongoing discussion, but thoughts so far are that actually we can do quite well with the way things are at the moment.

The reasoning is that the season 2 cards are clearly marked with [S2] and by name so it's not really any more difficult finding an S2 card than it was finding a particular S1 card within the rest of the S1 cards. Those S1 threads that are utterly inactive having the last tiny drops of spec wrung out of them (what the card designer was wearing when they came up with the puzzle on that rail-replacement bus on a drizzly tuesday morning, and the colour of their underwear at the time ...look, it might be relevant! ) will disappear off the end with the new S2 card threads appearing and the S1 cards that are still unsolved will rise majestically to the top when someone's brain clicks in the right direction.

My original suggestion was that we split everything in half and have season 1 and season 2 completely separate. But I was convinced otherwise as then there'll be terrible confusion as to where to post stuff, particularly for newbs (of whom I'm sure we will get more as PXCstories kicks off) and the easily bewildered (erm...me ).

If it becomes unworkable, things can be changed at anytime with not too much fuss, does that seem reasonable?

Having been into the puzzle forums a bit it acually does seem ok, the only place its not so good I've found is the silver section where the unsolved cards are. I think its more just me being picky
