It is frustrating - but I think MC are between a rock and a hard place.

We will complain if they leave us in the dark about times of the BIG OPENING - but we don't like it if everyone (literally) tries to get first solve and the site crashes.

It is simply not possible to cater for this kind of unusual - likely never to be repeated demand.

But it is pi$$ing me off though Smile

Phew, I'm actually kinda relieved. I haven't gotten my cards yet, and if it keeps this up, I might have a chance at getting a first solve in a bit Razz

But anyway, here in the States, it keeps switching between an immediate Firefox Page Cannot Be found and a 503 Service Temporarily Available.

Hopefully my cards come in today, got some Hamley's to put in Very Happy

I got a black too and I KNOW I'm right but it came up as incorrect... now I can't even get on the site. Some foresight should have told them there'd be a mad rush....

disappointed... and giving up for the time being.

I got a solve for #203, at least I think I did.
I got errors for everything else and gave up after about an hour.

At this point, I'm not even sure First Solved really counts -- if I get First Solved for my card, it isn't because I was the first to truly solve it, it isn't because I was the fastest either -- it's because I was the luckiest to not hit any errors on the site!!

I was *so* excited about all this, and now I'm thinking they should just scrap the whole First Solved tally all together.

Then the site might actually work. Mind Candy really dropped the ball on this one. Sad

Looks like it's taking us back to the Holding page for the time being. For what it's worth, I think I might have got the first solve on #137: Animal Magic, but I obviously can't be sure.

I have had several solves that have said incorrect - but say I have solved then in my solved cards in the profile!!!!!
