Lunar lunacy

Tonight there is a lunar eclipse. The fun starts at 8.18pm GMT, with totality at 10.44pm. Wouldn't it be cool if MC could use this lunar event as part of the syzygy ARG storyline - alas I think not.

Anyway, take a look.

There's more info over at http://www.popastro.com/sections/lunar/eclipse_march2007.htm - and if you're in a bit of the world that can't see it, you might be able to watch online:

I could just see the moon from my window but all I did see was a small section of it, nothing special or anything just looked as if it wasn't a full moon tbh.

That was probably when it went out of my view, I looked again around midnight and it was gone from my field of vision out the window.

I did wonder that but I thought it was a bit late to be all covered, and when I first looked it was only just in my field of vision, oh well, I'll claim it was covered and so I saw it Razz

I think the next bone is in 2017 so that would be a good idea.

The next total lunar eclipse can be seen on 28th Aug 2007 for those in Australia and US. For us UKans the next one is on 21 Feb 2008 but it's at about 3-4 am.
