 		[S2] Dice Set - #199 The Name Game

BARBARA = 167
LAUREN = 231
LAURA = 237
TIMOTHY = 193
GEOFFREY = 172



The names above are on a blackboard in the picture, but I don't have it scanned yet. Also I think there is an error on the card and have emailed MC about it. The card should read 'There are two values for Catherine, 223 and ....

 		Well I've just had a confirmed solve for this card, but I think that the first value for Catherine, as given on the card, is wrong.

I believe it should be

My reasoning being:

C = 6, At = 85, H = 1, Er = 68, I = 53, Ne = 10
Giving a total of 223, not 233.

Yes, same here. I see only two solutions for Catherine. This is a clever puzzle.

yes, it is an error, as i said above i emailed Mind Candy about it and got this reply:

I'm sorry for the trouble you've had with this card. There is a typo: the text for the known value of Catherine's name should read 223, not 233. With this information, the correct solution can be entered.

We are aware of this issue and a warning will be put in place to alert players of this typo on the card. Thanks for emailing.

It's a pity that we don't have a scan for this card (and I'm not in any position to provide one at the moment either) because, as is often the case, the picture is itself a clue.
