It's running a javascript, and, yes, it is based off of your computer's time.
To see what would happen, I set my computer's clock to 3:00 PM central time, and a message appeared on the page: -->
Quote:
Sorry, You're too Late.

perhaps we caught it too late and failed?

Thanks, Soleta! Smile

Argh...are we supposed to *do* something before the clock gets to 0? I don't know how this kind of programming works, so I am not sure if we can even do anything on the web page while the clock runs down. Is there a chance that something comes up on the screen at a certain time, and we've just all missed it? Maybe it says something on the hour?
Are we supposed to let it run out and then wait to see what happens on the site later today or tomorrow?
Good find, though, that it's based on your computer's time! Smile

The site is just too basic. It's given us nothing to work with in terms of coding, pictures, or the like. Considering I've just begun getting my hands dirty on this game, I'm not entirely sure, but it seems like they're suggesting that we just kind of sit back and watch those numbers count down.

I mean, they haven't given us much else, so what else can we do?

hurray, I hoped something would happen today. Sadly I've no idea what's happening. Setting your clock to just before 8pm and letting it count to 0 shows that nothing happens - it just switches suddenly to "Sorry, you're too late". Likewise there's nothing new on the brunt/sicurezza page after 8pm, but then there shouldn't be, code wise.

Maybe we just need to wait for the site to update at the server?

so i've been racking my brain over this wondering what are we supposed to do, just wait? I tried every combination of trinity, ames, camel as well as trinita, ames, cammello on the brunt page. Nothing.

Also has this image changed?

I don't remember the black dot, the 3 unfilled dots nor the information in the left bottom corner last time I looked.

Just for future reference. I've lined up the map on an actual US map. They line up fairly well to cities. Whether or not this is relevant I'll say probably not, but because I hate digging information back out of note pads, I'm putting the city names here just in case.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Black Dot: Hovers over the towns of Monte Vista and Alamosa Colorado

Northern Moon: Centered over Vail, Colorado

North Eastern Red Dot: Ames, Iowa

Eastern Moon: Centered over Dodge City, Kansas

Southern Red Dot: Centered over Halloman, New Mexico

South Western Dot: Centered over Winslow, Arizona

Western Red Dot: China Lake, California

Also one should point out that the only unused axis is The North West South East Line. This may have some relevance to someone who has extensively studied the symbolism of a Compass Rose

Just looking for God in the details guys.

It's a shame we couldn't figure out the proper coordinates in time.
I was, personally unable to find any reliable/accurate locations for the "center", "primary incident area" or "HQ" of the project sites. I tried various lesser levels of granularity, to no avail.

I think you might be being a bit quick to assume that this is finished...

blunt.php is still working the same as before, so presumably we could still get the codes, but so far there's really been no hint whatsoever as to what they are, other than the obvious (and wrong) trinity, camel, and ames.

Ditto. Not everything is always as it appears.

Seems there's activity once again. New countdown on the main site and I just got this message from Kane, re: the message I sent about Luke having three vials by the end of March.

Yeah, that's really it. I sent back a reply: Maria?

So, we've been given 2 more weeks and 3 more letters to work with.
