UPDATE: New live Journal entry 24 July

8:15 pm Rahne knows I'm keeping this LiveJournal, and she knows why. I was nervous about her reading it, once I'd told her about it. Even though I'm basically sharing it with a world of perfect strangers, there's something about people I know IRL reading it that makes me uncomfortable. Rahne offered not to read it as soon as I told her about it, though, which was a relief.

Rahne says the cutest things sometimes. The other day she corrected my use of the word "fecund" and then explained to me the basics of TCP/IP. She says when she was little she wanted to grow up to be a ceiling fan.

At night I lull her to sleep with stories I've collected, and ones that I make up. I love to sit above her head and run my fingers lightly through her hair as her breathing becomes measured.
