Oh dear. Having said I'd scan and post some cards, I've now discovered that my scanner's lowest resolution is 75 dpi Sorry folks, looks like it will be up to someone else.
Surely you could scan at any resolution and then scale it down in an image editing program if the scanners resolution is too high?

also fFolks, may I point people at the Card Catalog
http://www.perplexcitycardcatalog.com/2/
It is entirely a fFan-maintained resource -- that means you and me. And I haven't managed to buy any cards yet. (I did say 'yet')

Yep, that would work fine -- Just open the scan in mspaint (or your clone of choice if you're on MAC OS or *nix), and use it's scaling feature to scale the size down. Save and you have yourself a lower-dpi scan. What's the max dpi we're allowed to post, btw?
EDIT: Also, Scott, check the intro thread....

PLus I note a lot of progress being made on the scan/post front - I finally got some cards and see that most of the threads I checked had a scan already. Great work!

I believe they can only be 60dpi. It's mentioned in a few places, including here and here .
Right. Scaling. OK. See, this is why I like PXC - I learn loads of stuff! *wanders off to experiment*

Just for reference, in mspaint it's under the Image menu, labeled Stretch/Skew. If you're scanning at 75 dpi and want 60 dpi, use 80% for both fields (.8 * 75 = 60).

Have just got my first four packs... sitting tantalisingly on my bed while I try and bribe myself to do some work... Anyone have any ideas of how to balance having a life and working/studying without feeling guilty?! Would love to join in the effort if I can do anything to help
The card list Scott posted looks good but there doesn't seem to be many pics there either - is there a specific place these scans are sent to or collected?

The definitive place will be the Card Catalogue , it's just not quite ready for Season 2 yet. Til it is, you're pretty much stuck with the forums out there, including the very shiny one you're on now in the Cards Section , where we're currently only missing one scan on #233 and all the details on #228. We've got the rest
And balancing life? You're on your own there. Not got the foggiest idea how to do that.
