i tried the number 17674534243 just now and after 2 rings received a "you have reached a number that is disconnected or is no longer in service" message.

hey, it's only $0.50 per minute from where i am. i think it was worth a buck or two to find out one way or the other.

also, for what its worth: has anyone noticed, that the computer monitor in the final scenes where the SWAT team shoots up the empty room, displays a set of eyes, ala Dark Angel 'Eyes Only'.

Could this relate to a revival of Dark Angel?

I doubt it; both Jessica Alba and Michael Weatherly are currently very occupied in other roles (Fantastic Four and NCIS, respectively.) Also, Eyes Only had a very rigid formula for his broadcasts (like this) that Hacksaw doesn't quite match.

Sometime today I think I'll look around comingsoon.net and other movie sites and see if I can't link this up with something.

Still nothing new....the only thing she asked us to do was "wardrive" the transmission around the world. Do you think they're waiting for a certain number of views or subscribers before going forward?

Hacksaw video gone from YouTube

The Hacksaw account on YouTube is marked "This account is closed"

As far as I can tell there is no automatic YouTube account closure if an account is idle for an extended period of time.

If you decide to close your own account you are informed that your channel and videos will remain on YouTube, even after you close your account, so if you wish to not have your videos remain on YouTube, delete them first, then close your account.

I have searched YouTube for the Hacksaw video and/or channel and have found nothing.

This means that either Hacksaw2021 deleted her video and closed her account, therefore leaving no trace on YouTube, OR, the YouTube SysAdmins purposely deleted the Hacksaw account, also leaving no trace.

Either of these scenarios leave many questions unanswered.

While checking the 'net for instances of Hacksaw2021, I ran across this link to the Hacksaw video and got this message from the YouTube site:

"This video has been removed by the user."

If true, does this mean that the whole Hacksaw 'whateveritis' has shut down?

Does this happen often, that a potential ARG will just shut down after an initial teaser? Or is there some other explanation for this?
