great job with that!

side note - the "duck" part in the first few seconds i'm assuming is 'duck & cover' - that is how it looked to me and seems to go hand in hand with the instructional video in the start...

hopefully we'll get another video or clue we understand soon!

upc code

Throwing out the first and last number and converting to latitude and longitude gives a point in very northern Russia. Not much around there though, unless you count Norilsk and Novyy-Urengoy.

Hmm...for some odd reason, this just gives off that resident evil feeling...

Unless they've seriously changed things up for no reason at all, the backstory given in the video (while I admit it gives off a very RE feel) is definitely not Resident Evil. Umbrella's always referred to, across all forms of media it's appeared in, as a corporation. The use of the term agency throughout the video implies a level of authority and official status that the Umbrella Corporation, for all it's webs of conspiracies and power, lacks. For instance, do you really think Racoon would've been nuked if Umbrella had such a huge sway in the government? Nope. Evacuated yes, and then Umbrella would've bravely volunteered it's own people to "decontaminate" the place. What they would actually be doing is gathering samples, running little field tests of their new walking dead toys, that sort of thing.

I do agree that there's a very oppressive-and-huge vibe here, but I think this is more oppressive-and-huge-government than oppressive-and-huge-bioweapons-corp.

How about Crackdown? The agency in that game is called The Agency. Also, a spoiler for the game.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
They are bad.

There's also the Hughes Tower in Los Angeles, a 16-floor building. Chances are they don't expect us to literally go snooping around in either building. (Anyone else find this hard to resist nonetheless?) It's probably a building that doesn't exist - shouldn't exist.

People have commented on her eyes, apparently a big selling point of whatever this is - the word HACKSAW has an image of her eye embedded, to compliment the theme of watching. I'll keep an eye on this one.

Interesting. Well, I'm in. As an Australian I can say she definitely sounds australian, not kiwi.

I got nowhere with the phone number angle, but I was using New Zealand's country code. Any Australians want to try calling that number and seeing if anything turns up?

Resident evil 4 was released in the Uk on march 2nd. But no release date in the US yet. maybe its viral marketing for that... Though ths has a different feel to it. RE4 is based in europe. The girl is definatly an aussy. the movie is being released in the fall and doesn't have anything to do with hackers... I'm guessing this is similar to RE but not RE. AS RE has nothing to do with hackers. Though the vid look like a pro job. If this is an ARG it will be a big one.

The Movie. Not the game. With all the cover-ups and nukes and such, surely a hacker or 20 could pop up somewhere.

Resident Evil 4 has been in the US since January 11th, 2005. I remember playing it when it first came out. Razz
