A Revolutionary Cure for MHBS

Cognivia has announced a revolutionary implant for treating the brain disorder MHBS, or Morgan's. The pre-frontal cortex implant enhances degraded neurological signals and will revolutionise life for hundreds of Morgan's sufferers, giving them normal puzzle-solving abilities.

Work on this remarkable cure began after the famous case of Fiona Gint, a woman who suffered serious head injuries in a boating accident and then presented with Morgan's symptoms. Miss Gint's injuries led neuroscientiststo a series of major breakthroughs - pinpointing the exact area of the brain that was malfunctioining and causing Morgan's.

Patrick Albright, the scientist leading the project said: 'This new implant will give MHBS sufferers a new lease of life. The implantation procedure is straightforward and afterwards the patients will be able to return to participate fully in society. My dream is to see an implanted MHBS sufferer winning the PCAG."

However some vocal opposition to the cure has come from Fabian White of the pressure group Morgan Pride. Mr White said: 'This implant is dangerous and unpredictable. The procedure is difficult and, if mis-aligned, the implant would cause horrendous side effects, needing more surgery to correct. Rather than trying to find a so-called cure for MHBS, funds should be diverted into Morgan's awareness.'

My favourite card so far, some of these had me groaning out loud! Careful you get the titles exactly right though.....

Hint:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
For 1, 2, 3 and 5, they're a bit like that old show Catchphrase - "Say what you see, say what you see" Smile

Following on from the previous post:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The puzzles in Catchphrase are known as rebus puzzles. Something I found out while playing the various puzzles on PXC.com while waiting for the cards to arrive.

And Roy Walker is a legend among Saturday night presenters. Discuss.

Has anyone had a look at the faint writing in the background to pictures 1 and 3?

On No.1 I can see the word 'CHIP' with 'bgho' underneath (a 1 letter shift). Above both of these is written what looks like 'Ll <squiggle> aklhm'.

On No.3 there appears to be '97' written over the Tequila bottle, followed by 'High' or 'flight' and above this 'eanl'.

Any thoughts?

agentp: Your answer for No. 2 is wrong.

I was initially thinking like you, but thought that:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The Search for the Dice Man

was a better fit. However, that's wrong too.

Hint:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It's a classic text.

Also,

Think along the lines of how you got 3 and 5.
