Daniel tossed the shard of metal away and tore off her trouser leg to form a bandage. The bleeding was slow, but he wasn't sure how much she'd already lost and he didn't want to risk anything. Daniel sat down, feeding her some water and taking a gulp himself, and wondered whether he should stay there or leave her to look for help. It would take him hours to climb out of the gorge. He decided to compromise, and explore the area to see if he could find any supplies or working radio equipment. As he stood up, stretching his legs, he stumbled against the boulder, sending it slowly rolling down the slope. Within seconds, it had sparked another avalanche of rocks. Daniel stood back, steadying himself.
"Saunion, where are you?" he heard. The voice hadn't come from the woman beside him - it was from his earpiece.
Daniel was momentarily stunned, and then spun round in disbelief. He'd been listening to another person this entire time. Springing forward and dropping his backpack, he launched himself down the slope desparately, into the second avalanche in Catastrophe Bite.

I stared at this for about 45 minutes before it finally just popped out at me. Great puzzle, one of my favorites so far this season.

My fave puzzle card so far Smile

Possibly a better way of seeing it -
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Hold the card side on so the 3 red lines at the top of the card are on your right. Now tilt the left hand side of the card slowly away from you so you are looking at the card from an angle. When the optimum angle is reached (about 70 degrees in my point of view) the image should become clear!!!
