I believe what they meant is that you can read the story without playing the game, but the people who are playing the game do affect the storyline.

Im going to be keeping an eye on this one.
So far I cant find any extra info on this, I was just thinking though, when it talks about being able to interact with the charecters at anytime, for example when their feeling sad, does this imply they will be bots?

My understanding is that we will be interacting with the writers playing the characters, not bots.
Also, I wanted to bring this back to everyone's attention because it is scheduled to launch in two days, on Sunday.

I'm guessing late at night....since they tend to like to do that with quite a few ARGs.
PS I think the post on Charlotte's blog is in game, as she mentioned a dead friend and it's a story about four friends. So why couldn't one friend be 'from beyond the grave'. They even mentioned something about death on the website.
Edit: After a reread I'm pretty sure I was wrong...it's dated March 17 as well (didn't notice that before *headhand*).
Still no story and it's 11:29pm here...maybe it'll start in the morn or it could be delayed.

No, she mentioned a sister that died, not a dead friend.

Oops my mistake, that's what I get for not thinking to reread.

I'm actually getting really anxious for this to start.. it's been April 15th for a while here. ; 3;
Though, it's not as though i REALLY need another distraction from writing my essay.

Huh, considering that the story takes place over 22 days and the first part is called "Day 21", I can see two different storyline scenarios:
1. It's told Memento -style, starting at the end and proceeding backwards.
2. It's a countdown to a certain event (which would occur on Day 0, 22 days countdown from 21).

Four friends, one mystery, and a deadline of 22 days. And you.
I say option two. Especially since we're interacting with the characters.. They'd meet us on day 20 and then when we get to day 19 that'd be like 'um... who are you?'.

I've been waiting for a while. It's 9:34 over here and it's still not up yet. I'm twitching. That's not normal. This is supposed to be my first ARG, but I might have to wait until World Without Oil.

10:52 here, and the website hasn't changed yet... Maybe they're just waiting for suspense?

EDIT: I used the email provided on their website and emailed 'them' last night, around one a.m. -- no word yet.

Odd, it's still not up.
Maybe they forgot?
Anybody want to shoot an email their way?

I just sent them an email. I'm sure it's going to a real person rather than an auto-responder- who knows? Maybe they partied to hard the 14th and the 15th came.. and went..
